Siless Liner 157 mil (4 mm) 51 sqft Car Sound Deadening Closed Cell Foam & Heat Insulation mat - PE Foam Sound Deadener Material & Heat Barrier

We are converting a mini van to a weekend camper & used these as 2 layers on the floor for insulation & noise reduction after removing the seats. They stick REALLY well and, since we got the larger order in squares instead of a roll, the pieces were very easy to work with. The biggest trick is to start the peel back, place the square with just an inch or so of sticky exposed then peel as you smooth. Keeps out air bubbles and allows for a minimum of "straightening" if needed. We have enough squares in the box of 51 to do 3 full layers, 2 below the wood flooring and one on top of it when it goes in. It is squishy enough to make for a really nice padding layer under the final flooring (low pile carpet) that we put down.

Used it on the ceiling and the doors for my Cargo van to add a little bit of insulation. seems to stick well, molds good around edges.. I'm sure it will hold in the heat much better now.. Comes in Squares which makes for easy installation

So, I'm using this in my jeep as the secondary layer on top of the butyl layer. I can definitely tell this will work. Adds mass and the thump test is audibly different. My issue is with sticking. I'm cleaning the metal with dawn and it's very clean. It sticks really well to your hand, but it's hit or miss on the actual sheet metal. I'm using a roller and areas are still unsticking. I recommend buying an adhesive spray to use with this to get the best results. If I did this again, I'd spend more money and buy the soundskins deadener. Premade combination of both materials.

The peel-n-stick is super nice. It's sticky and doesn't let off your fingers easily so be ready to stick it and leave it - there's no redo. I am a little disappointed that there's lifting after-the-fact. But that's a very small point as 99% of this product is amazing! The ride is quieter and I'm happy with the overall everything of this product.

Bought this for my 06 Silverado 4 door and it worked great after i cleaned all the old adhesives off the raw floorboard of my truck and wiped it with alcohol i used it and it worked great. The adhesive on the back of the pads sticks great and the pads are pretty good size. The pads are also not to thick that you won’t be able to cut them or push them over bolts and such as needed.

I used this on my 2006 GTO after I mini-tubbed it. This material went in VERY easy and the sticky backing adhered to the car very well. I would suggest cleaning the surfaces with a damp towel for the best adhesion, to remove any surface dirt or grime. I used this stuff in the rear 1/4's, over the wheel wells and on the floors and factory seat backing (metal). Some of these places didn't have any sound deadner from the factory. I also reinstalled the factory sound material over this product. Because this product is very thin, it didn't interfere with the OEM stuff. It fits pretty muck every where in the car. PLUS, it's fairly easy to cut, using a good set of shears or scissors.

I am Not happy with my purchase. Product photos show foam as a black or dark slate color. What arrived is light grey in color. I can no longer use this product for my project as Black was required for it. There is no product description stating there will be color variations or to expect other colors etc. etc. Also the box that the foam came in from the factory has some weird chemical residue on it, I’m afraid to touch it as it looks like it could be battery acid. The Amazon box that held this box has no stains or chemicals on it. See included pics of the light grey next to a black color swatch and the chemical on the box.

Cumple perfectamente con su funcion que es aislar y sellar paneles, al sellar puertas mejora la acustica de los altavoces, evita vibraciones y ruidos si se usa como empaque o junta al montarlos, el adhesivo es muy fuerte, se pega excelente y es dificil removerlo, no desprende olor alguno aun con el coche cerrado todo el dia bajo el sol a 38 grados.

Easy to install. I installed it on top of kilmat on the ceiling of my gmc savanna. The day after I put it on I slept in the van. When I awoke I asked my daughter if it rained last night. She said it was intense rain and wind. I never heard a thing, slept through the whole storm. The combination of these two sound deadening together can’t be beat. Totally recommend.

This is a good product at a good price. I used it to sound deaden my car and it has been working well along with butyl mat and a rubber overlay. I would purchase this again if need be, unless they increase the price. I got it for $100 for the box, any more than that and you should look elsewhere.

Used under the spare tire in Dodge caliber with an aftermarket muffler. This helped with the low drone at stop lights at idle and less noise on the highway. I used three layers.

just spend the extra money and but kill mat this stuff is just foam with stick on the back
