This film was fun but.......
So first off, ignore the cover art. There are vampires, there are guns, there is no city or horde of zombie vampires.Cover art aside the idea seemed like a fun one. Vampires vs. Zombie-Vampires, what's not to love? Well the dialogue for a start... Aside from a few witty lines near the beginning most of what's said in this film is stilted and so painfully awkward that even the best of actors couldn't deliver it with conviction. Then there's the Z-V's. I think they ran out of money before they bought the make-up for this film, as I could make a more convincing zombie with the stuff in my kitchen cupboards. The cut-scenes of the vampire's pasts seem mostly unnecessary and slow the film down a lot although I can almost forgive this since who doesn't love Vikings and cowboys?Despite all of this I still love this film. The final showdown is a lot of fun for anyone who's a fan of watching a guy with a sword hack and slash at monsters and I was sold on the whole thing early on by the one scene containing genuinely funny and intelligent dialogue.

Utter drivell!!
Like most of the people who buy Zombie Vids, we do it because we love Zombie Films! When I saw the "Art" cover for this film, I thought FAB this is going to be good! they may as well have put a picture of a school panto staring Shaggy and Scobby Doo on the front, you would have been given a better idea what sort of film this was!Rubbish Acting! and I mean Rubbish Acting!Rubbish Script!Rubbish Ending! (cant believe I watched it all, thats and hour and a half of my life i will never get back!!)Please do not waste your money on this pile of dog doo doo!!

kinda average
On the whole kinda average, ignore the post-apocalyptic skyline on the cover because it's set at a motel thingy in the woods. no city, no post apocalypse, just some teens on a break away from home who get caught up in something they cant escape. Predictable for the most part.

THERE IS NO BACK-UP
A group of young adults arrive at the Lakeside Motel for a vacation romp, only to find it is deserted. Summer (Cameron Goodman) takes a shower and we get to see her back and belly button piercing (yawn). Ten minutes into the film we have the first zombie and a few minutes later a militia shows up lead by Luke Goss to take out the zombies. We eventually discover that the zombies are called Zee Bees and are vampires who have turned into zombies and Luke Goss' group are actually vampires, a plot spoiler on the DVD cover and by-line.The film includes several vampire flashbacks as the plot consists of Luke Goss firing an automatic weapon and sometimes you see what he is firing at. Luke LaFontaine plays a dark haired Viking named after the Greek God of War or a Ram's Head. We know he is a real Viking because he quotes Latin. At on point he calls his girlfriend Gabrielle (Spice Williams-Crosby) Aries, apparently reading his own name in front of the script colon. Early in the film Shelly (America Young) is called Val, that is neither a nickname for Shelly or America. All in all it was a fairly sorry film unless you simply want to watch vampires without fangs shoot guns.Guide: No sex or nudity.

Well, at least it has Luke Goss
Just when I thought 'Twilight' had ruined vampires for me, this movie is extremely cliché; handsome vampire, who shoots zombies and leads a corp of vampire soldiers, ends up biting the last surviving chick from the deserted forest cottage and they, ironically, end up getting together.I'm usually very tolerant about the movies Luke Goss stars in, because he tends to lift my interest. The first battle was entertaining I admit, but with the whole "teens stuck in a house in the middle of nowhere, and suddenly they get killed one at a time" you get bored almost instantly. There's too little background knowledge and too little story behind the movie, I didn't understand it at all and no doubt there was a whole lot of plot going on, but when you get next to no explanations, there's no point in actually following it. This should probably have been made into a series rather than just one movie for anyone to actually understand it.The cover art too is also very misleading, probably one of the only good aspects at all, but you wouldn't think it was about vampires shooting zombies or anything of the like. It looks like 'Zombieland', but it certainly isn't!All in all it's not really worth watching, this is no 'Resident Evil' nor 'Van Helsing' - well, yeah technically it is, just with a very, very low budget and poor choice in actors, other than Luke Goss. Prepare to get disappointed.
