pooboo Folding Magnetic X‑Bike, Upright Exercise Bike for Home Gym

I have had this bike for 2 weeks now. Love it. Easy to use, easy to put together but you do need patience and know how to follow instructions. DO NOT cut open the screw sets, cut them out as needed! This bike is sturdy, great weight capacity. The seat is padded but I feel I need more but I am a plus size woman. I use it daily and at 5'5" sometimes my legs are tired so if you are shorter than that you may have issues. It is so quiet no one knows you are on it. I needed exercise and started by looking for an arm bike because of my rotator cuff surgery. We'll, this has made my recovery exercises so much better at home. I absolutely recommend it. Hard to keep my frown kids off of it because I am not sharing. Fit in my bedroom on the carpet and just bought pads to put under it which work perfectly. All adjustments are easy which I need at 60! I use it daily for a minimum of 30 minutes. The note is for my kids 😄 Also only took a week to ship. Took me about an hour and a half to set up with interruptions and again I had rotator cuff surgery 3 months prior.

This bike is fantastic. The written instructions on the other had are terrible. I watched the assemly instruction video and this 65 year old was able to put it together by myself in about and hour. I was a little afraid when the outer package upon delivery was beat up, but am sure that's because of the delivery. It was well insulated with styrofoam and all pieces were intact. I let the glue on the pedals dry for 12 hours as instructed and have had it now for 2 days and have used it twice. No noise so far when being used so it's perfect if you want to use when others are sleeping. The seat and back rest are well padded and comfortable. I'm 5'4" so making adjustments for height was easy and I'm able to get on/off with no problems. I've moved it from one room to the other with no issues, it is light enought to wheel wherever you need. I have not tried out the resistance bands yet but can tell they are of good quality and should be no issues there. There are differenct tension levels so you can start out with little resistance, and then once warmed up increase so you get more of a workout. I am overall very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to anyone wanting to get into better shape without stress on your joints. I also like the fact that it won't take up much space once folded.

I am so impressed with this bike! I needed a space saving stationary bike to do my rehab on. I was very surprised by the quality, especially at the very affordable price. It was very easy for me to assemble, with great instructions and no missing parts. Didn't even need my hubbies help. I love the versatility of being able to easily adjust from upright to recumbent. The arm resistance bands help to get an overall workout. Seat is very comfortable and in the beginning it was noise free, but has since developed a small clicking noise. I am not disturbed by it, but will see if I can figure it out, (or ask my hubby).

So far not to bad. I was surprised on how easy it is to get on and off of the bike. I am 5'2 and have a bad knee. Once I got it together, I told myself that I won't be able to get on it without help. I was wrong. Getting on the bike was so easy. My doctor told me to get a stationary bike to help get my heart rate up so that I can lose some weight to get knee replacement surgery. It is so smooth and doesn't hurt my knee. I'm only doing 5 minutes to start off and then I will work my up. I only gave this 4 stars because the seat is hard as a stone. I should receive the cushioned seat cover that I ordered tomorrow. Hopefully this will help. Great bike for the price. Seems sturdy enough to last and very quiet. The rubber cover on the handlebars did have a cut in it. Looks like it got sliced with a razor blade. Other than that, everything looks great.

I only just put this together last night. The instructions say after you put the glue on the threading to screw the foot pedals in not to use it for at least 12 hours. Therefore the only time I got on it last night was to adjust the height and just make sure my pedals were going around in circle and that's it. Because I literally just got it I cannot comment on longevity of this product. However, I can say, that this thing is pretty solid. I weigh 274 lbs butt nekkid and I absolutely felt stable on this thing. Unless you're some kind of hardcore trainer like those people who like to stand up on the pedals and vigorously pedal? I do not see why you would not be able to get years and years of use out of this thing. If you're just trying to get some cardio in and be healthier and even lose some weight? I see no reason why this shouldn't be the bike for you. Especially if it's still on sale like when I purchased it. A lot of these bikes are offering the exact same thing but at much higher prices. I felt like I was going to be scrunched up on this thing because of how it feels like it doesn't unfold all the way compared to older model bikes... but if you have this same curiosity? Let me assure you that once I sat on it I was absolutely shocked at how comfortable and natural it felt to sit on it. I did not feel any extra stress on my knees once I put the seat at the right level for me. I'm not crazy about the color, but this isn't supposed to be a fashion statement in my room my room. Maybe the bright red markings means it'll be harder for me to ignore it when I walk past it LOL that is unless I start covering it with clothes... 🤣 No, I won't do that LOL I didn't do it with my last bike I won't do it with this one. The exercise bike is probably the easiest method of getting some exercise in that I am more apt to do more frequently. It's the easiest on my body and joints. Again, I will mention I felt very stable on this thing. It did not feel like it was going to teeter over. There was no clicking or creaking noises when I did test the pedals. Or even when I got on and off of it, there was no noise. There's no jiggly parts. Everything fit together quite solid and sturdy. The directions were a little bit of a nightmare at first until I got used to the diagrams. Reading through it was not the best instructions, but I was able to put this thing together by myself in an hour or less? I didn't really pay attention to what time I started. But I definitely took my time to make sure that I put it together right the first time. Cuz I was not about to have to take pieces off and redo it. It was a successful first attempt. So my advice is take your time read it. Before you open the tools and stuff, familiarize yourself a little bit with their numbers. Because the reading instructions will refer to the number of the parts. Everything that needed to be labeled to make sure you are grabbing the right pieces was labeled. Anything else you could look at it and you obviously knew that's what it was talking about. Not sure if there's really anything else I need to say. This is always a nervous purchase to make and I'm glad I made it. I think this one even fit together more beautifully than the last one I purchased (from a different company when I lived in a different state) for around the same price. Good luck to you all on your new ventures to be healthier and/or lose weight. I know it's not easy. Especially if somebody who is middle-aged, extremely overweight, and who deals with permanent nerve damage, two slipped discs, onset of osteoporosis, autoimmune disorder, and arthritis. Did I get everything? I don't know if my chronic sinusitis matters, but it probably does because if you suffer from it also you know how fatigue can make you. So somebody like me can do this so can you! Take it slow. You're not trying to win a race. You're just trying to wean yourself into a healthier lifestyle. And when you start small... Even if it's just 5 minutes for the first week every day... When you move up to 6 minutes... 7 minutes... 10 minutes every single one is a goal to be proud of. Every single one is an accomplishment and success! YOU GOT THIS!

Update: Aug 2025. After 3 months of using my PooBoo stationary bike I love it. I even convinced my mother to get one. She is 79 and had a stroke a year ago. My dad has to help her to get on and off, but we're hoping it will be good therapy for her. I think my dad wants to tey it too. Ive had no problems so far. The two issues I mentioned in my first review below have either been fixed or mine was just a fluke because my mom's bike that we bought and received this week did not have those same issues. I wish Pooboo made a fold up treadmill. June 2025: I have had the bike for a couple of weeks now and am pleased. It is sturdier than it looks. I had no trouble assembling it. There are three minor issues with my bike but they do not affect the performance. 1. No matter how hard I try I cannot get the front handle bars to stay completely tight. They do not come completely loose they just have a slight movement if I pull on them. Since I have no need to pull them while riding, it's not a problem. I notice it mostly when I'm getting on and off of the bike 2. The little display box. The back side of the box that came with my bike has a sharp edge. The front part is smooth but the back is sharp enough to cut your hand. When holding the bottom of the handlebars my hands rub the side of the box. I've cut myself twice now on my index finger. It's an easy fix though, you can wrap tape around it or you can take some fine grit sandpaper and smooth it down. I took the more creative route and crocheted a band to go around it. 3. The straps that go on the pedals to hold your foot on while you're riding are a real pain to get on and off, but I guess that could be a good thing. Your foot isn't going to come off the pedal while you're riding. The little control box that gives you your heart rate and your speed and your distance is a little dated, but for the price you're paying for the bike I think it's about where it should be. I wish it gave you an RPM reading as well since most online bike/spin classes go by RPMs. I just made a rough chart of equivalent MPH to RPM and attached it to my bike just under the box. If you're a 2 or 3 day a week exerciser who has trouble with their knees, this is your bike. If you're a professional cyclist trying to train this is not your bike. 😂 Overall, this is a great bike for someone who isn't in shape and is looking for a cardio workout. Just be careful though. I was watching a biking video and they went around a curve and I wad leaning with them and almost fell off the bike 🤣

So I’m not sure how it happened, but when the order arrived and I started assembly I realized that the top strap on the right pedal was broken, so I contacted the seller, who is AMAZING, and they immediately shipped me a replacement so I wouldn’t have to disassemble everything and send it back. It came in like 2 days after my first message. You don’t find sellers like that anymore. 10 star outta 5. As far as the product itself, it is PERFECT for me, it quickly and easily can be folded up to take up about 1/3 to 1/4 of the space it takes up when folded out for use. It is also very lightweight, but also heavy enough for me to feel completely comfortable using it without the slightest hesitation, no wobble, and I’m a 6 foot man that weights 217 pounds, so if I feel 100% secure on there then I’d say most everybody would feel the same. There’s also the fact that it is just a beautiful machine, I LOVE all the red accents to match my gym if I want to take it down there. It is a very high quality exercise bike and you couldn’t ask for a better product or for a better seller. Truly incredible service and quality. I am VERY impressed and I hope to buy many more items from this seller. You can feel confident about buying this without any worries.

What a reasonably priced and well built product. Took about 2 hrs to assemble. Easy breezy for a person with assembly skills. Good quality fasteners and all needed tools included.💪 Very fine features included, cup holder, stretch straps that can mount in 2 different ways. Excellent foldability.👍😎 Fairly lightweight and fair mobility with front frame wheels . This operates really, really quietly, so far. I weigh about 217 lbs and am a 70 old man, about 5'10". No issues. Very easy to step through to Mount of. I needed a portable upright exercise bike. This is it. The seat cushion is fairly comfortable, if you want it to be really comfy, look at gel bike seat covers on Amazon. Thank you sellers for a good product at a fair price point.👌👍😸😎💪💯

コンパクトで使いやすい。掃除する時もコマが付いているので移動が楽です。本体もとても軽い。安いせいか異音が時々するが、許せる範囲内だと思います。ベルト式ではないので漕ぎやすかったです。買って良かったと思います。

一週間で不具合が発生したが、速やかに代替品を送付して頂いた。代替品は問題なく使用しています。音は静かで使いやすいです。ただ、メーターのデジタルの数字が少し見ずらいので角度を調整出来れば良いと思います。

It was easy to put together, only took about 45 min's. It is pretty durable and is great for my needs.
