Another great fiskars tool. I got the small knife for my wife a couple years ago and this larger harvesting knife is a great addition for larger items. The sheath is nice and sturdy and so is the knife. Very sharp and the blade shape allows for cuts in strange angles. Love that fiskars stands behind their products and designs unique and useful tools and sells that at a fair price. Keep it up fiskars!

This is exactly what I needed for harvesting things like broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage. I kept taking a kitchen knife to the garden, wishing I had a safe way to carry it. This was the answer, with a hard plastic sheath. I can throw it in my garden basket or use the clip to hook it to my pants, jacket or belt, and know I’m not going to get poked by a sharp knife. It’s easy to use with the sharp edge on the tip, plus up one side. It can handle any large, tough vegetable stem. The handle is a nice size, feels good in my hand, and is appropriately textured for a good grip. I have enjoyed my other Fiskars tools in the past and this one didn’t disappoint. It’s nice and worth the money. I am sure I’ll be using it for many years to come.

It wasn't sharp out of the box but it sharpened easily. It sharpened easily enough that I'm worried about how well it will hold an edge. I do really like the sheath. It has a wide mouth and guides to center the blade so it can be put in the sheath easily without looking. The knife can just rest in the sheath or click in for better retention.

I needed something lightweight for troublesome weeds and just general utility. Fiskars has always shined in that dept. Maybe not the most heavy duty tools, but they get the job done without spending a ton of $$$. This little guy is great; Lightweight, but enough heft for light chopping. The factory edge was... Meh., but gets crazy sharp after a few minutes on diamond and ceramic stones. I've been using it around the house and business taking care of weeds mostly. It'll dispatch very small branches, and the serrations help with sawing through things. The sheath? Yeah, it's crap. But it's a $17 knife, the sheath is probably going to be an afterthought. I might try and find a leather sheath that will fit. Handle is comfortable and the rubber grip works well with or without gloves. Overall, great little all-around blade for gardeners, landscapers, and I'm sure it would make a great camp knife. Most of the machete functionality, without the machete weight.

The blade is nice and fits the hand well. The main problem I had was the first time I wore it the holster got caught on the water hose and when I turned to free it up the belt clip snapped off.

This was exactly what I needed. I was looking for a cheap knife to use in the yard and garage. This thing is very comfortable to hold and came nice and sharp. The size is just right and the build quality is typical Fiskars sturdiness. I love their lifetime guarantee and they have done good by me on other products in the past. I cut off the beltway portion of the sheath and send it down the edge. I included a picture to show how the handle fits in my 2XL hand.
