I really like the boon bottles so when I saw they made a highchair, I instantly bought it easy to put together easy to clean. I can even put it in the dishwasher. The size looks great. It looks more modern. It seems stable and I haven’t had any issues my only thought is that it does look like it could be unstable if your child was rowdy just because the legs are so thin and tall.

I’m a first time mom and this is the only high chair I’ve owned so take this with a grain of salt. However, I’m so happy I chose this high chair. It’s clearly been designed by someone who has kids. This is so, so easy to clean. The straps and cushion are easily removable to spot treat and throw in the wash. Everything on the seat is a smooth surface for easy wipe downs. I love that the tray has a lip around the edge. This chair has so much functionality with the multiple ways it can adjust on the height, footrest, and tray. A big selling point for me was that it’s tall enough to be used at counter height. We mostly eat at our bar counter so this was a huge plus. You can shorten it for your table as well. Another thing I really like is that you can stow away a splat mat and the tray on the cross bars under the chair when not in use. It’s got kind of a large footprint but I feel like most high chairs do. Some people mention that the tray is hard to remove but I didn’t find that it was. It is super easy. It just clicks in and out of the seat. You do have to use both hands but that’s not a big deal. With younger babies (mine is 7 months) their feet may not reach the footrest. My little girls feet just dangle until she grows a few more inches.

This highchair was clearly designed by a parent. This came out after my extensive research before getting our first chairs. I ended up with the IKEA antilop and inglesia hook on chairs. We found we were always using the hook on chair because we eat at our counter, but the fabric was annoying to clean and the bigger my kid got the more important a footrest seemed. This is amazing for the pure fact that it can reach counter height, has a footrest, 5 point harness, is wipeable and is not hundreds of dollars. The seat pops off super easily to be cleaned but is very stable otherwise. I’ve run it through the dishwasher after our cake smash and it came out as good as new. Most of the time I just wipe it down or rinse it in the sink and it’s sparkling clean again. The straps are so easy to get on and off, both on the baby and the chair when it’s time to clean. It’s also super lightweight. I can easily pick it up with one hand to clean. That also means my 1 year old can easily push it around the kitchen when he’s not in it, but so far no signs that it’s at risk to topple. As far as negatives, I wish it was a smidge shorter to fit under the counter so there wasn’t as much of a gap for food to fall. Not sure that would make a difference anyway because the footprint is large. That said, that’s expected for the stability and after a couple of days we got used to it and don’t find we trip over it. I also find the seat is a bit deep. My kid is 1 and in the 99th percentile for height and his knees don’t quite bend at the seat edge which leave marks. It’s put together similarly to the antilop, but the legs don’t come apart as easily. So this isn’t going to be as transportable (also someone was complaining about it feeling cheap but the difference in the 20 dollar IKEA chair and this is obvious). The tray needs two hands to come off, but I don’t find it difficult in the same way as the antilop (which needs brute strength to pull off). It’s more like you have to practice a few times to get the hang of it. If you’re looking for an ergonomic counter height chair- this is the one. Buy it. If you’re looking for something for the dinner table, the antilop (with a 3rd party footrest) is pretty close. I think the ease of removing the seat and straps make this the winner and are worth the extra money. I also see this having great durability and resell value when kiddos graduate from high chairs!

It took me a year to decide on a high chair and I’m glad we went with this one! It is SO easy to clean compared to most! No secret nooks and crannies. The straps and seat come off easily to wash, and the tray is HUGE. I also love that it’s adjustable height as we have counter height table and a kitchen island that we eat around all the time. It takes practice getting the tray off and it’s not easy with one hand. I always have the tray off when I go to set baby in, strap her in, then place the tray. I loosen one side at a time when I remove it, then unstrap her (she is patient thankfully) and get her down. The tray has two settings so baby isn’t squished as they grow. I do wish the safety harness had more adjustments because it’s a bit wide for her right now, but I have the straps snug so she can’t get out of them. That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The base is wide, there’s no denying it. I’ve caught a toe a couple of times, but it IS secure and doesn’t topple or wiggle, even when she’s dancing in her chair. I’ve recommended it to many friends already. Super happy with this chair!!

This high chair is awesome. It is the only high chair that is completely cleanable. I love the way the seat can come off if needed, but even without that it is an easy wipe down. The straps and cushion come off easily to clean as well. I was a bit nervous about the 5 point harness because honestly it sounded annoying to deal with when trying to get a baby full of food out of it, but the 5 point is really more like a 3 point and it’s pretty easy to get on and off. My little one has gotten food on the straps quite a bit and I just put them in the top of the dishwasher because the straps are very easy to take on and off of the chair! It does take up a bit of a footprint but I feel most high chairs do for safety. I keep mine at table height right now and it’s not too bad of a footprint. I also love the hook on the back for bibs. It is sleek and cute. I put the tray on the bottom cross bars (not designed to do this but it works) as it sits up against the table. The ONLY thing I would take 1/2 a star away for is the tray. It is definitely a two handed deal, and it will take you a hot second to get a feel for it but then it’s fine. I love the one handed levers on other high chairs but it also makes sense the way this one is, because there are no screws or weird secret crevices that stuff can build up in and the tray can go into the dishwasher. So I’m a little torn on that, I would love the feature of one handed tray removal, however I definitely prefer that I can completely take apart and clean every thing, and do it easily! I don’t do a ton of long reviews but this baby has changed my life. Sure you could buy a very cheap high chair like the ikea one for about $30 it looks pretty easy to clean and same kind of tray deal, but missing the other features, or you could buy one $50-$75 with tons of crevices and those gross plastic seat pads or a more expensive high chair that is supposed to be multifunctional and grows with your kid - which I’m just gonna go out on a limb and say most people use it for the baby/toddler and do not use it for anything else besides the classic high chair and possibly toddler chair. Besides this one is multifunction in a more realistic way I think. You could buy something around the same dollar range and if you really want that easy one handed lever, extra tray liner on the tray, or cuteness factor of some specific style then sure but other than that, this is a winner. I’ve never had a high chair I was so impressed with. I should also mention I am a mother of six 19,17,15,7,3, and 6 months. I’ve use a couple different types of high chairs. If I were in my 20s and just barely having babies and on a tight budget as we were I would get the ikea chair, but I’m a bit older and not as tight of a budget and can opt to get something with a bit more functionality so I chose this and I am glad I did.

So this is my first time writing any review ever!! I did so much research before buying this chair and I'm so glad I chose this chair! I probably looked at and read about every single highchair out there. I bought the ikea chair first which was so highly recommended. I tried to like it but just couldn't! Although it was super easy to clean, it was not sturdy, tall enough for our table, and the tray was so hard to get off that I broke it the first day. I also needed to spend extra money on buying a footrest and cushion to support my baby. It didn't seem worth it so I decided to do some research and just get a chair that had it all! This chair is so sturdy!! Height is adjustable, has a footrest which is also adjustable, and sooo easy to clean!! You can easily take off the fabric part and use it without or you can clean it in sink every day like I do (my baby is very messy!!) everything else you can just wipe off or even put in your dishwasher--even the seat!!! Bonus it also turns into a toddler chair! What else do you need?! The tray is a little hard to get off but once you get the hang of it, it's no big deal! And it won't break so easily like the ikea one! I absolutely love this chair!!

It’s cute and I wanted to love this chair bc it’s so super easy to clean. The tray it a little rough on the edges where baby’s arms go and it is a pain to get off and on. It feels like it will snap off. I would take that over having many crevices to clean but the real problem is the legs they are not sturdy and the cross bar fell out after only two weeks. It’s also a pain to take the legs out to convert it.

Did a lot of research and came across the boon grub highchair. It had the design and esthetic features I was looking for at a price point that was manageable. It also claims that it is super easy to clean - which is always a plus with grubby little children. We had the ikea highchair in the past, but I wanted something with a footrest and that felt a little sturdier. Upon receiving, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the highchair. Yes, it's just plastic with metal legs, but just feels well made. Assembly was a little tricky - but didn't take too long, the footrest took me way too long to figure out 😅. All of the features seem really well thought out and the thing just looks really sleek. The footprint is a little wide, especially if you were using it at countertop height - but I think it definitely helps with stability. Overall super happy with my purchase. Haven't tried to dishwash yet, but can update if any issues arise
