Beautiful blooms in a rainy summer
Started these February. The seeds are great, and inexpensive. Sunflowers don’t look after themselves, especially potted ones, so I’ve looked online and followed the advice, watering everyday, adding plant food (Tomorite is the best) and the effort has not been in vain. They are hardy, growing well, flowering and there are more buds on the branches ready to take over from the first flowers, guaranteeing summer blooms. It’s been hard work, but an absolute joy.

Excellent seeds
Originally bought these Seeds after purchasing a pack from a well known home & garden store in which only 2 out of 10 grew. Feeling disappointed i purchased these in a last minute attempt to get some sunflowers growing (planted late March) and I’m incredibly impressed with the quality - every single one planted has sprouted, they’re now out in various places around the garden and are growing very well so far (late May). Great price, you get lots in the pack for your money. Looking forward to seeing them in full bloom later in the summer.

Not so giant
I've only planted 5 of the seeds so far. One of them failed to grow but the others did after a week or so. Once they got to about 30cm tall I planted them into the ground. Unfortunately two of them got attacked by slugs so they haven't done very well. The remaining two are at about a metre tall with what looks like a flower bud forming. It's now August so hopefully I'll see a flower before it starts to get cold. I did put canes next to the plants but so far they've been sturdy enough without them. I wouldn't describe them as giant but at this point it could be conditions weren't ideal so I'm not putting all the blame on the seeds. I've still got plenty of seeds left so next year so they're good value. I'll do some more research on getting them to grow better.

Triffids in the making.,,
My flowers are getting so big now I’m beginning to regret siting them so close to my back door. It’s only a matter of time before they block the light out, or worse……..seriously though, I’m very pleased with the seeds thus far….
