These bars are a staple in my house. I originally got them because I needed to cut out dairy while breastfeeding. I can resume consuming dairy products, but these bars stayed in my life because they are just that good! I don’t mind the chewy texture and I can’t even tell I’m eating dates. The apple pie is my absolute favorite! When you are craving chocolate, these bars in the chocolate and peanut butter line up are wonderful as well. Definitely made my time cutting out dairy manageable. I also like these for on the go. I can keep them in my bag and don’t have to worry about them melting or making a mess, and I live in Florida. I will continue to restock my pantry with these.

This flavor is really really good. And I will be trying to in all the different flavors I even think a lemon kind that I want to get. But I most definitely will be ordering more of these. Just need to do a better job on the shipping. The Box did come beat up.

I gave this a 4 because of the shipping. It was sent in a paper bag with 2 more boxes of these bars (different flavors) and the boxes were smashed. The bars are fine, just a little bent up. The taste is still good. They do not have much protein in them, but when you want something that doesn't have a lot of fillers, this is a good option. I do like these bars, and will purchase again. Hopefully next time, they won't arrive in paper bags that get smashed.

These are wonderful! The dried apples lend moistness and a dense, slightly chewy texture. With crunch from chopped nuts and cinnamon for spice, there's a lot of flavor packed into each 1.6 ounce bar.. I was curious to see if eating one of these with a small glass of almond milk as a quick breakfast would suffice for a couple of hours and the answer is yes. I'm looking forward to sampling Larabar's other flavors. Update: I've now tried the Coconut Cream and Cherry Pie options and for what it's worth, I'm adding my opinion of those. The coconut is in a word, heavenly! I'm actually delaying placing another order, as this bar is just too tempting. I'm not a big fan of sweets, but these are impossible to resist. A lot of coconut and the texture becomes creamy, after a couple of bites - fantastic! I found the cherry selection to be my least favorite. The flavor is okay, but for me, the tartness is a little overwhelming. It wasn't reminiscent of cherry pie, either. But, every palate is different, so if you like dried cherries and nuts, give this one a try. Update #2: Just received a new flavor - Lemon Bar, which is right up there with the Coconut Cream. Now, I have two favorites! A lovely combination of sweetness and lemon, not too tart. Additional note: after eating these for a few days, I found I tired of this flavor, I'm sorry to say. Although I don't dislike lemon, it just became unappetizing. **I did notice that this box contained only 15 bars, rather than the 16 indicated. I'm not normally one to consider checking something such as this, but after reading multiple reviews regarding this same issue, decided to see for myself. I can't imagine Larabar's quality control people allowing such a problem to continue. Surely they'll implement measures for resolution.** Final Input - Blueberry Muffin simply doesn't have much flavor, in my opinion. From this point on, I'll be ordering only Coconut Creme, as it's just hands-down the best of Larabar's selections...

This tastes great and it’s healthy for a nice sidekick to lunch. The apple is not sickly sweet but rather a purer flavor than basic apple pie. Consistency is like a fig newton and it is stable at room temp. No refrigerator necessary. A bit of chewy apple goodness in a pocket sized form.

I started purchasing the Larabar Apple Pie Bars 2 yrs ago locally, only came 6/box & were out of stock at local store. Decided I'd purchase in bulk as I don't eat desserts, but love them. These are my go to desserts. I place them in the freezer so they get hard. They soften up quickly so I take small bites when still hard. Great apple/walnut taste & vegan as well
