Jaybird Vista 2 True Wireless Sport Bluetooth Headphones With Charging Case - ANC, Sport Fit, 24 Hour Battery, Waterproof Earbuds with Military-grade Durability, Calls - Grey

My challenge was to find a pair of true wireless buds which did everything I needed. My needs were; that they needed to sound great, stay in my ears (more later) and look good, not like some of the very bland looking products out there. I got the Nimbus Grey. I laboured over review after review of competitor products finding that nearly everyone had an issue and I was keen to ensure I did not waste money on a premium product which did not do what I wanted it to do. In the box included a tiny smart looking case in which the buds were housed, a short USB C charging cable (NB no charger unit supplied, although I have several myself so no issue), and two different sized silicon attachments for different shaped ears. I used the pre-fitted ones, keen to ensure the things stayed in my ears. Rarely have earbuds stayed in my ears. The fit was superb, and although I guess this will be different for everyone, the subtle fin on the buds ensures they stay in place (more later). Really easy to set up the buds with your phone using the app, (download from Google Play or the Apple equivalent) I have an HTC phone running Android 9. After the inital set up, the Buds connect immediately when removed from the case (Assuming your Bluetooth is on) and can switch easily between devices. Done through the device itself. It always connects to the last connected device used. Sound is fantastic and you know immediately this is the real deal and whatsmore the App allows you to adjust the sounds through a few pre-set options or you can manually adjust for yourself and save them as additional presets. Call quality surprisingly appears to be OK (given mics are in the buds, at you ear) according to those on the other end of the calls but I am guessing in noisy areas this might not be as good, although not tested that aspect yet. I guess this would be the issue with any buds used for phone calls though. The buds can be set up so that the left bud can be used for skipping back a track or the right forward a track as well as holding down the right ear bud button to increase volume and the left the opposite. You can also tailor the button functions for the various “Assistants” e.g. Google. The case is tiny and the buds are locked in place at an angle with subtle magnets, and the case itself has a magnetic closing, which all feels very premium indeed. The case is topped off with a short lanyard which could be handy for some. The case is small enough to go inside a zip pocket on running shorts. I take them everywhere now. There is an LED indicator at the front of the case, which glows white when you open the case, flashes whilst charging and stays permanently white (if plugged in ) to indicate that the buds & case are fully charged. (This doesn’t seem to take very long using a fast charger). The LED will flash red when you are running low and need to recharge. When the buds are on, the battery indicators will show in the notifications section of your phone and will bleep after every 5% of battery is consumed. Buds automatically start recharging form the case once you put them back in and there is a voice-through telling you they are connected and the battery level of the buds. Buds can be used separately to extend their battery life, although I am finding roughly 6 hours with both and I believe there is another 10 in the case, although have not scientifically measured this. I primarily wanted these buds for every day use, however I needed a pair which would stay in my ears at the gym. I undertake rigorous exercise including High Intensity Interval Training workouts (including lots of jumping type activities – the kind of things which would see most earphones simply fallout, also very frustrating if you have boxing gloves on. These things stay in like glue, despite all the sweat, and when working the way I do this would ordinarily result in the buds slipping (first pair I have ever had which I have not needed to adjust during a session!) One the noise cancelling front these are not noise cancelling by definition, although they do suppress outside noise considerably, to the point that it is about 85% to 90% effective, when music is playing. I would thoroughly recommend these buds, they sound great, look pretty cool and stay in my ears! 100%Worth the money

Over the years I have bought many different headphones to use while out running. These are far and away the best I have ever owned. My last pair were also bluetooth, but not 'truly wireless' in the sense that there was a cord linking them around the back. The sound quality was fine, but it had become increasingly annoying how the cord would get stuck in the back of my T-shirt, I was forever having to put my hand back and re-jig the cord while I was jogging. I read very good reviews of these and decided to purchase them. Long story short, they are great. I have taken to listening to podcasts and audio books while jogging - having these removes the remaining distraction of trying to feel comfortable and I find I can get lost in what I am listening to while plodding along and shedding calories. There was one thing I was worried about - the thumping sound of the compressed air while jogging. In the past I have bought sports headphones and they tend to either plug your ears or sit and let some background noise through. I much prefer the type that let some sound through. I don't really like the thumping sound you get with the ones that plug your ears. I think the air gets compressed and transmits the sound. Well I was right to be worried - these *are* the type that plug your ears. After my first run I was wondering whether I would be able to get used to the thumping sound, or whether I should send them back. However, on my second run I upped the volume and also made sure I didn't compress the earphones too much into my ears. The thumping sound is still there but I tend to not notice it now. In terms of the fit - I tried the small option and medium option for the wings. The small ones seemed stable, but the medium seemed to be the most stable for me, so that is what I opted for. I go out for 40-50 minute runs and have felt no discomfort so far. I also actually fell over and rolled during one of my runs (don't ask - embarrassing), but the headphones never even felt like they were going to fall out. In terms of range I have not had problems - I once had them in and walked away from my phone downstairs to the other side of my house and was still getting clear audio through. In terms of battery, had them for 2-3 weeks now, and probably 7 or 8 runs, and have only charged the container for them once. It's very good how they get charged when you put them back in the container. The app is really good. I used the tool to set the levels once when I first hooked them up. It runs a wizard and asks you what feels comfortable for a range of frequencies and then gives you your final custom frequency levels. Or you can do it manually or use a bunch of presets. What it came up with for my custom setup sounds great to me. The app also automatically upgraded the firmware on the headphones. It also has quick instructions you can look at on what the different buttons do. In conclusion - great sound, great fit, they are 'plug' your ears type. Very very happy with them.

If you're looking for a set of earbuds for sport, the first thing you should know about these earbuds are the comparability issues with Garmin watches, unfortunately this wasn't obvious to me when buying these and I've since has to return then, which is a real shame as if you read on you'll see these are a fantastic sounding set of earbuds. I'm not sure who is at fault for this issues, Jaybird or Garmin and I did consider keeping these, but in the end connection drop outs ever 3-5 mins to the watch was unbearable. So, parking those issues for a moment, if you want these to connect to a phone and play music then they are great. Upon arrival and unboxing these had about 50% charge so I could crack on and set them up. Pairing on my phone was easy, although a little different (you pair them using the case rather than the buds), but once set up off you go. I downloaded the app and sync the buds to it, again pretty easy to do and then that's where the magic starts! The app was really good, a little overwhelming to begin with as there is a lot going on, settings and profiles for sounds, ability to change when the button presses do and turning on/off ANC etc The best bit about the app is the sound profile/equaliser settings, you can literally tweak the full range, bass, treble, mid etc, I've never seen this level of customisation on a set of buds before and it works beautifully. I spent a good hour sat listening to music and playing around with the equaliser to find a profile that suited me. You can then save custom settings (or choose a pre made profile) and switch between them with a simple tap. That means you can switch back to the default flat profile and the difference is day and night. Having owned a few other earbuds (Cambridge audio, Anker, Bose) these sound the best. The only issue with the sound and it's a small one, is the level of bass, but it's no worse than the majority of earbuds out there, you don't really get that bassy thump with earbuds. The only ones I found that have a decent bass are the Bose soundsport. I had no issues with the fit, using the default medium size silicon tips, the wings are small and neatly tucked into my ears. Felt comfortable and stable. I didn't have these long enough to fully test the ANC out, but when music was paused or stopped the outside sound passthrough was fantastic, almost felt like I didn't have anything in my ears, I could hear everything without having to take them out, what's a real bonus for me, you don't need to keep taking them in and out if you want to stop to talk to someone. Once they are in your ears, you have two ways to control them (that you can customise in the app) a soft 'tap' on the bud, or a hard press. I found the soft tap worked well, although you can get caught out inadvertently triggering it when adjusting the buds in your ears. The hard press I liked less, I found the force needed to press the button in meant you were pushing them into yours ears a bit too much, which was uncomfortable. For running, apart for aforementioned issues with connection, these worked great, they felt stable and comfortable, eventually not noticing them in your ears and just listening to great sounding music. I loved these and was heartbroken returning them, but just couldn't get over the Garmin connection issues. If this can be fixed I'd consider these again in the future.

Edited after 1 week use: I am going to start by saying AMAZING!! Finally Jaybird have got something right! This is far superior to their previous model! Thank you Jaybird! I was even nervous about buying these, I wish I wasn’t! They are definitely of premium quality! My purpose for buying these was to replace my Bose Soundsport Free buds because I just found the Bose for the gym and running too weighty and bulking! So my choice came to these Jaybird Vista buds based on great reviews and YouTube reviews. Fitment - Out the box the size 2 wings were ‘alright’ but my ears are big, so after I put the size 3 on they gave a more ‘snug’ fit and was perfect! The head shake test and they stayed in! Not only that, they look low profile and great in the ear! And they hardly weigh anything compared to my Bose. I am so happy with the fitment of these and weight! I don’t see these falling out in the gym. 1 week later using these in the gym is was fantastic! Never fallen out or moved in any of my workouts. Perfect! Sound - Out the box the sound is ‘alright’ and flat but you MUST download the Jaybird app! Soon as I setup a profile for EQ tailored to me, away we went! The bass was thumping and the mid and high tones were greet too! Do they beat my Bose? No.. the Bose do slightly beat these in my opinion. But.. it’s sooooo close you really have to listen to tell the quality difference and is it enough to stop me getting rid of my Bose? No! Bye bye Bose! I have actually found that best EQ profile for me in the app is ‘Extended Listening’ this is a great balance of bass and vocals. I also tested Spotify and Amazon Music apps. I put both to best quality and I found that Amazon Music provided a much better quality of playback audio. Battery - I charged these fully 1 week ago, and I have done around 8 hours listening and still haven’t had to charge the case again. Reading the manual it says the case will flash red when battery gets low. Not had this experience yet a week later. I definitely recommend the battery! My dislikes - The click is slightly annoying when you press the bud into your head. But.. it’s alright and not a big deal. Also some talk through tech would have been great for in the gym! These buds are very good at blocking all outside noise! Price - I got these at £160 and in my opinion they are a ‘little’ pricey for what they are! You can get the JBL and other makes around this price range that also include mics for actual noise cancelation and talk-thru technology. I don’t know if they sound better though.. but I think Jaybird should have priced this more around the £130 mark. All this being said though, I am very happy with my purchase! So to wrap it up, my Bose have been sold and I am keeping these Jaybird Vista now as my new ear buds!

I chose these for two reasons. One, they had wings, and the most comfortable and secure fitting earphones I have used have wings, so I figured that was a must. Two, I read a number of reviews that raved about the fit and comfort. I guess it should be obvious, but these aren’t going to fit everything. My problem was simple that these were huge! And here, I guess I’ll make clear that I am talking about how thick they are. They come with three different sizes, and I decided to try the stand size first. I put them in my ears, and those wings I was looking forward to sat hovering in the air over my ears, doing nothing at all to hold them in place. I’m not sure why the wings are so high up - maybe I have much shallower ears than most people? With much effort, I managed to tuck the wings in and under, and, to be fair, the things did stay in. The sound was good and clear, and I liked most things about them, with the very important exception of comfort. I’m not sure how you are supposed to press the button without pushing the earphone painfully against your ear, but I would have made do if they hadn’t also become increasingly painful just to wear. After about an hour, I decided enough was enough, and tried the smaller size. You may wonder why I had put off trying the smaller size to begin with if they were so painful, but, to my great disappointment, it turns out the main difference with the ‘small’ is that is lacks the wing altogether, which I hadn’t realised would be the case. I suspected that, without a wing to keep the fit secure, they would just fall out…and I was right. Not alone that, but the ‘smaller’ size did nothing at all to reduce the discomfort. I’m sure these are brilliant earphones for someone, but I am not that someone. The impossible search for a comfortable pair of earphones continues!

Finally found a pair of true wireless buds that do the two things I want, sound good and STAY IN! Over the past few months I’ve trialled a number of different types of earphones. Apple AirPods, Powerbeats 3 and Aftershokz Trekz Titanium. AirPods... rubbish! I know they’re fine for some but for me they just kept falling out and were no good for the gym. Powerbeats... great at staying in due to the earhook, but they didn’t create enough of a seal therefore the gym music was often trumping what I was playing through them. Plus, the cable kept sticking to my neck when sweating which became a little annoying. Aftershokz.... great at staying in again due to the design, but the sound quality wasn’t great due to them not being directly in my ear. Great for road running but I didn’t feel comfortable with them in the gym. If I put them too loud there was often too much noise coming from them that others around me could hear. The Jaybird Vistas solve all of my issues. Great fit (I use the number 3 fittings), these earphones won’t go anywhere even during the hardest of workouts. Due to their tight fit the sound isolation is excellent too. The shortcut buttons are really useful on the buds themselves too. My only gripe is that because they form such a seal in my ear, simply stopping my music isn’t enough when people talk to me so I have to remove one of them to hear clearly. I can live with that though! Great earphones!

I bought these as I was after earbuds for running and cycling, which would allow me to listen to what I wanted whilst remaining aware of my surroundings. After doing a bunch of research I decided on these. The earbuds themselves functioned in the way they are advertised, but after trying them out on a run I'm now returning them as even with surroundsense switched on I didn't feel like I was safely aware of my environment, and the wind noise is an issue. More detailed review below. The Good: Build - The build quality is great, both the case and buds are constructed with nice materials which feel premium Fit - Good and secure fit, different fin sizes will make sure you get a good fit. I had no issues with them falling out or even feeling at all loose. I'm not the smoothest of runners and that they didn't even budge is pretty impressive. Sound - Really good sound, deep bass, responsive mids, and highs aren't piercing. The ability to personalise the EQ in the supporting app is useful and makes a noticeable difference. If you don't know how to effectively apply EQ, you can choose from any number of presets from both Jaybird themselves or other users who have uploaded their settings, which is a nice touch. ANC - When activated, the ANC is effective, and being able to switch between ANC, surroundsense, and off using a tap control is really useful and not something offered by many other brands. The Bad: Button/Tap controls - The tap controls for switching between ANC settings don't always respond properly so it takes some practice to get consistent results. The buttons (there are both tap and button controls for both buds) are somewhat stiffer than I would like, meaning that each time you want to play/pause, skip, change volume, you're having to push quite firmly on the button, which pushes the earbud further into your ear-canal which for me wasn't particularly comfortable. Furthermore, the only tap control setting is a double tap, whereas the buttons respond to a single press, double press, and a press and hold. Why the tap functionality isn't more effectively used, I don't know. It would make more sense to allow better customisation of multiple tap responses and limit the requirements of button presses as the tap functions are far more comfortable and don't require any sort of inward force. Internal noise - The one is due to personal preference in that it turns out I hate having in-ear buds which completely obstruct the ear-canal. When running this means I can hear the thud of my footfall with each stride as well as background internal sounds like breathing, blood rushing in my ear, heartbeat etc. If you're used to in-ear buds and don't mind this then it won't be a problem for you, but it was a deal breaker for me. Wind noise - Even when playing around with the ANC, surroundsense, and low, medium, high wind filters, I could never get the settings right and the wind was always an issue. This isn't by any means a problem specific to Jaybird, but I wonder if the fabric material used on the main body of the buds (which incidentally gives them a really premium look and feel) is picking up more wind noise than some of the other earbuds on the market. All in all, the earbuds function mostly as advertised, and the majority of my issues with the buds are down to personal preference. However there are some issues/inconsistencies with the buds functionality and material choices which affect user experience. I'm now looking at open ear, bone conduction headphones as in-ear buds aren't for me when it comes to sport.

Thoroughly recommend these for running! Great quality sound, with a decent bass. These headphones stay in my ear very well whilst running, only occasionally slipping if it is raining and I am on a complex trail. I also found them very comfortable, which is a bonus for use outside of sports! The battery life is very decent, and the buds will last long enough for a long session of listening before you have to place them in the case to charge again. I found I rarely had to charge them and that the case provides a reliable protection! I appreciate the integration with the app, allowing you to keep location tag on the buds and control specific sound elements and noise cancellation. Noise cancellation is a downfall though, as I often found they weren’t wind proofed enough! In all very high quality, and the white edition looks fantastic and doesn’t mark as easily as I expected!

I have been looking for a lower cost range set of earbuds I could use for my daily life and the Jbird Vistas have been perfect. After using them since April 22 they have been a massive upgrade from my old ones. The Jbird Vistas do not have one bud parent connections so I was able to only have one bud in at a time without needing the other connected. They are extremely water and dust resistant. Over the time I have been using them I have dropped them a multiple times into puddles, and sand without any audible difference in quality. These buds will definitely survive accidental drops and you do not need to be scared of wearing them in the rain. The case is sleek and fits in my pocket well and is not that heavy. As for the battery life of these buds, it is amazing. I am able to have regular usage of the buds over a week and a half and not need to charge them. However they are not perfect, twice now I have had the right earbud be able to connect but only play audio extremely quietly compared with the left. (currently still doing this) a fix I found for last time was to scrub it in soapy water but that is not working right now. Overall I would highly recommend theme buds if you want a robust set of wireless earbuds with a good amount of audio settings for everyday usage.

This is my second pair of Jaybird Vista's. Perfect size, great sound and you can wear one bud a time without losing function. They do need to be looked after to increase their life span, but that's easy enough

Gli auricolari Jaybird hanno tutto quello che serve a chi fa sport: vestibilità, tenuta, impermeabilità, riduzione del rumore e ottima qualità audio. Come detto da altri, in chiamata non sono il massimo in quanto qualche volta l'interlocutore lamenta di non sentirmi. In ogni caso le consiglio!

Sitz,Handhabung,Sound,Case - perfekter Begleiter für den Sport! Ich habe lange überlegt welche Kopfhörer ich mir zulegen soll. Am Ende bleiben für mich nur die Powerbeats Pro oder die Jaybird Vista zur näheren Betrachtung in Frage. Preislich liegt der Jaybird noch unter dem Powerbeats - aber der Preis sollte für mich nicht das Hauptkriterium sein. Die kleine Box zum Laden ist echt der Hammer. Die kann man selbst problemlos beim Laufen mitnehmen da das Gewichtnicht auffällt. Beide Seiten auch unabhängig voneinander tragen zu können ist ein Riesen Vorteil der die Spielzeit natürlich nochmals enorm verlängert. Der Sitz ist perfekt, bisschen probiert mit den 3 Größen und bei mir passt es am besten mit zwei unterschiedlichen Aufsätzen. Der Klang ist für in-ears in dieser Größe ohne Kabel herausragend! Die Einstellmöglichkeiten durch die einfache App super schnell erledigt. Ich gehe nicht mehr ohne die Dinger aus dem Haus und kann mir Sport ohne die zwei schwarzen Knöpfchen nicht mehr vorstellen. Verarbeitung ist top, den ersten Regen und 10 Kilometer mit starkem Schwitzen haben sie problemlos überstanden. Verbindungsabbrüche hatte ich bislang nicht. Egal ob ich die Musik vom iPhone oder nur der Apple Watch wiedergegeben habe. Für mich der perfekte Begleiter. Die Sprachqualität bei Anrufen ist nicht überragend, da gibt es bessere auf dem Markt, aber dafür sind die Kopfhörer ja auch nicht speziell ausgelegt. Trotzdem war ich gut zu verstehen und auch der Anrufer war sehr deutlich zu verstehen. Ich würde sie sofort wieder kaufen!

Vi har testa 2st par hörlurar vista 2 som inte alls fungerat bra vad gäller laddning. Tidigare haft Vista 1 och blev glad när jag hittade dessa, fungerar klockrent.
