Worked perfectly for holding screen to. 3/4 inch PVC pipe.

After building a frame from 3/4 inch PVC I noticed the advertised clips should fit perfectly. I attached the shade cloth by using the clips but wasn't sure if they would hold during fairly gusty winds. Well some were placed on vertical tubes and those didn't stay tight in the wind and actually flew over the fence. After evaluating I realized that by doubling the clips, one on top of the other they had the strength to hold the shade even during strong winds. So far I'm happy with the purchase although life expectancy is questionable.

I bought these black ABS ones before this that were WAY TOO "CLAMPY". These work for exactly what I wanted them to. Now... IRONICALLY, I don't know if I'd trust them for Greenhouse clamps, pool clamps or where AIR won't get under your plastic/tarp I think they'll do just fine, but I live in a VERY WINDY area, and they were snapping off. Once I had my first scoop of leaves in the bag, PERFECT. The bag wasn't going anywhere, the wind couldn't get under it, made cleaning up the yard a dream. These are quite flexible and can go larger than Schedule 40 1in. Maybe up to Schedule 40 1.5in at most, but then you're surly compromising the clamp force. Though their flexibleness made it super nice when I had to remove them to retrieve the bag, since I could next them inside of each other to keep track of them. For my use case, this couldn't have been better. For most people... JOB DEPENDENT... Since it can clamp, but it's moderate to strong. Like those ABS ones I'd give a solid 10 for clamp for Schedule 40 1IN PVC pipes, I had to slide it off. For these... 7 out of 10, it will hold it down, and a lot of applications will yield success, but there is a real risk, as I saw with them popping off. Also, much like the ABS ones, they don't slide around easily, since I bought a whole role of RUBBER GRIP TAPE, thinking I needed to complement these with the grip tape on the PVC, plastic bag over grip tape then clamp over plastic bag. NOPE.

These pipe clips are sturdy and reliable for securing pool covers, tarps, or other outdoor materials. The PVC material feels strong enough to handle outdoor conditions like wind and sun without cracking easily. The 32-piece pack is great value and gives you plenty of extras for larger pool covers or backup replacements. They snap on firmly and hold covers in place without slipping. Overall, a practical and affordable solution if you need dependable clamps for pool or outdoor use.

A super strong wind will pop them off the 1/2'' pvc pipe on my hoop frame here and there but all in all these are really good at keeping it on. We have had 50mph winds and it kept it on. Really good idea someone came up with when they made these. The green is nice because on the white fabric cover cloth you can see them. Really happy we bought them, in fact I liked them so much I bought another set.

I tried to put plastic on 1 inch metal pipes with these and they would not stay in the wind. They are easy to clamp on, but don't hold well in a wind. The size seems to be too big to hold well. They don't function well for my metal poles, maybe they would be better for PVC.

These clips worked great to secure the plastic to my greenhouse cover, just what I needed for the job. Great value

Does not clamp or hold frost cover . to loose pops off.

Used on a hoop house I built out of electrical conduit. Holding well so far this summer.

Selbst bei Sturm hielt das Vlies, was ich über meine Tomaten damit gespannt hatte, bombenfest! Die Klemmen sind leicht anzubringen und ohne weiteres wieder zu entfernen. Ich kann diese Klemmen nur weiterempfehlen!
