Yes, cleats are flush to wall. Each French cleat has a 3mm thickness, when the pair are connected it’s measured 6mm thickness. Approximately 1/4 inch from wall. Excellent product

Disappointed.

Only received 8 pairs of cleats, not 10 as stated in ad. Was missing 4 of the 1cm screws and 7 of the longer screws.
