Solid Gift for Lotr peeps
I was shopping for a Christmas gifts for a family friend who loves Lotr and saw this mug. I thought the price was a little steep for a mug, but given its heat activated display and the size of it, I figured it was worth it for the holiday. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a fairly large mug with ample space for holding lattes and a ton of tea. The heat feature works as described and is pretty cool. I see the recipient using it frequently as well, which is a good sign. Good purchase for me!

I bought this for my dad for Father's Day. He loves it! He's a huge LOTR fan and was super excited when I got him this. Works just like the description, and unlike some mugs that light up the design using heat, it looks great when it's cool too! It really is a fun gift idea!

I bought this as a gift for my best friend and she loved it! I will say, water/beverage has to be extremely hot and it will take a minute to change the image. I noticed that if she added cream to her coffee the image was more faint, but still a great gift!

Ideal Gift got any LOTR fan
I needed a gift for secret Santa and the person I had was a huge LOTR fan. He loved this mug and says he uses it every morning for his coffee. It doesn't look cheap but it also won't break the bank. If you're looking for a lord of the rings themed gift, this is a safe bet.

Poor quality - started flaking off immediatley
Washed the mug once in warm (not boiling) soapy water, used a non-scratch sponge. Put it on the dryer and noticed that it was flaking off already. Terrible mug.
