I got this for my large 95mm spotting scope. None of the fluid heads I had tried were ideal. Whenever I tried to "phonescope" they would not hold the scope in the same position when I attached the phone, also in the price range I could afford none of them were very "fluid" with the weight and size of the scope. This is completely different. Although it adds quiet a bit of weight it does the job extremely well and I am very happy with it. It copes very well with my scope. I don't even have to ensure that the tripod is level as the balance it offers covers any unevenness even when panning. Great value for money.

Good value tripod head Works well. Easy to adjust and a cracking price Only gripes is weight as it's a heavy boy, but if you are sitting or stationary then it's a minor issue And the panning adjustability doesn't seem to do a great deal But a solid purchase and a great budget option

I've used several 'high end' ballheads in the past and this is as good as any of them. Compact size and lightweight, well manufactured, smooth movements but very solid once tightened down. Quick release mechanism is also smooth and solid and the included Arca Swiss compatible plate is excellent quality. Can hold a heavy 1DX body and lens no problem, although I haven't tried it with any large telephoto lenses. For most people's use cases, all-in-all, it's an absolute bargain.

I like K&F gear and have bought quite a bit of their equipment, so it was not a case of was it any good but would it suit my purpose. I also wanted a three way geared head to go onto my existing tripod and the fine adjustment along with an option to make large camera movements quickly suited me. As with all K&F gear, it came well packed and looks the part as well as functioning as it should. Early days yet as to its durability but whilst using on a couple of landscape field trips it has performed faultlessly.

Using this for my Dwarf 3 smart telescope and it makes it some much quicker and easier to set up! ... a bit expensive, but your glad you paid the extra when you are out in the cold and need a quick set up!

Tried one of these that was made of carbon fibre very nice but £200. Bought this for £66 and it does the job just as well. I use it at rowing regattas and so far it’s been a huge help in getting the shots I need. Pros a very smooth action due to the dampers used on both lateral and vertical plains. The weight helps to keep the action smooth. No cons to be honest, or at least I haven’t found anything yet.

It is heavy... Although aluminium, you add this to a decent rigid tripod, and it gets a drag to carry over any distance if you are also carrying a big lens. I had thought \ hoped that the aluminium would be hollow with suitable internal stiffening but I assume that this increases the cost of production. Otherwise it does what it says it will. Action is smooth although not tried it cold conditions yet.

Bonne surprise ! Ce support est vraiment de très belle facture. Le montage et l’équilibrage se font facilement, les rotations sont parfaitement fluide. Il est relativement lourd mais on sent qu'il est robuste, ce qui est plutôt rassurant. A voir dans la durée, mais on a là un produit avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Ce support est d'entrée proposé à un prix imbattable, mais ce prix peu varier de plusieurs dizaines d'euros. En étant patient et vigilant, on peut l’acquérir pour moins de 100€

Well built, awesome quality, compact, very strong. No problem to balance my Nikon Z8 and 180-600mm lens for astrophotography. K&F Concept products are top notch.

Tras sacar el cabezal de la caja en la que K&F nos lo entrega, vemos y notamos que este está hecho con buenos materiales y con una calidad en los acabados excelente. Es un cabezal que nos vale para dos cosas, una de ellas para lo que ha sido diseñado, la fotografía panorámica, donde podemos hacer ajustes precisos de movimiento en grados, tanto en la horizontal como en la vertical y esto nos facilitará mucho el procesado la fotografía final. El poder ajustar el cento de la optica, punto nadal o como queramos llamarlo, es muy sencillo de hacer gracias a las posibilidades de ajuste que este cabezal tiene para ser usado con todo tipo de cuerpos y objetivos. El otro uso que se le puede dar, es el de facilitar la fotografía de aves o de naturaleza de animales, tanto en foto como en video pues sus movimientos son suaves, sin tirones. Podemos bloquear facilmente cualquiera de los ejes con una sola mano y sin tener que estar haciendo mucha fuerza, tan solo nos hace falta girar un pelín la rueda y esta queda fijada o liberada, es una delicia. Cuenta con una placa de liberación rápida y esta es de unos 5-6 cm mas que suficiente para objetivos de hasta 300mm 400mm mas de eso te recomiendo una placa un poco mayor para poder equilibrar bien la camara, aunque como se ve en las fotos que he dejado, el 200-600mm de Sony queda perfectamente nivelado, no se va ni para delante ni para atrás. Podemos poner la camara dejando el cabezal a la derecha o a la izquierda, eso dependerá del tipo de foto que vayas a hacer o del objetivo que utilices pues según la posición puede que te moleste para justar el fanillo de foco del objetivo o el del zoom, si eso te ocurre, has de colocarlo al lado contrario. Os he dejado fotos con el mismo objetivo montado de las dos maneras. Este es pesado, aun siendo de Aluminio y rebajado en algunas zonas sigue siendo un cabezal que pesa y esto puede ser un "problema" si pretendes hacer caminatas largas en busca de animales ya que no solo llevarás el cabezal, llevarás el cuerpo de camara y al menos dos objetivos, como es mi caso, un 200-600mm y un 50mm, mal el tripode que te aconsejo sea robusto. Una gran compra y muy contento con ella. 💯 recomendado.

Not sure how bias are some reviewers here and on YT but after reading all the great comments about this head I decided to give it a try. Just received and just sent back right away... I am using a Nikon Z8 and a 180-600 with a TC1.4x --> 3.6kg. The head is everything but smooth, the alu is bending because of the weight and the main screw is either super tight or super loose. When even a bit loose, I have a huge gap between moving parts. Rated for 15Kg max lol. I was having some big expectations, I am disappointed. For light cameras settings it should be ok but hey, this is a gimbal head for capturing wildlife with telelenses !! hard pass for me.
