Finally, a head that does not shred. I’m in the process of stripping off the old paint from my deck and replacing it with stain. This item does an excellent job.

Love how this works for getting the old stuff/paint off. Only problem is we cannot put it flat to the board. Had to hold it at a slight angle. Do not push down hard but very gently slide it around. Made quick work of a project of stripping my cabinet door for painting. Looking forward to using the stump grinder to see how well it does :)

I was making a 9 foot long dining room table from two pieces of fir we cut down from our trees. The edges were not consistent and so I decided to cut them at an angle with a jigsaw and then sand them to show a great live edge. The tools in this set worked perfectly on an angle grinder. They easily carved the wood. Just the right amount of roughness to make the edge look like Mother nature had done the job! A little touch up with 220 grit sandpaper on my orbital sander and I was ready for finishing. Everyone loves it. I am very happy and would recommend this product. By the way, it came with an adjustable wrench that fits any angle grinder, which was a nice surprise.

They work great, just be super careful with the black one. It is incredibly aggressive, will throw smaller projects and will rip the angle grinder out of your hand. Wear leather protection if you want to use the black disc. Sent me to the hospital imaging cheese grater from hell on my leg and hand. 10/10 would recommend them just be careful!

The carving discs work well. They are grinding type wheels not a rasp, if that is what you are looking for. after testing most, not all of them the black disc is very agressive and can scrap a delicate piece quickly if not careful. For larger cuts it works great. The flap sanding discs are flat. you cannot see that in the pictures. Great for metal. Fine wood carving is more difficult to manage. Hope that helps.

These work great but the flat attachment (the one I most needed) is too thin and the shaft of the grinder extends past the cutting surface so I couldn't use it properly. I was able to "make do" with one of the other attachments that came with the package. I tried spacers and even two other grinders I have in my shop but all have the same issue with that one attachment. They are very aggressive and make quick work of sanding/grinding wood.

Initially concerned for my body, given the speed at which it rotates, I was put at ease with the construction and integrity of the wheels. Having great fun carving all the stumps in my area. I live on a mountain so there are Lots of stumps. Definitely exceeds the quality of most online purchases. I will definitely recommend this to everyone I know!

Oredered these in place of the other one I ordered . Smaller discs are perfect for trimming horse hooves . Very sharp , so have to be really careful.

decent product BUT they may be for a 4" or 4 1/2" grinder but the center hole that fits on the grinder is not at all accurate - to small! Once I made revisions, its strong product

I bought this to grind down roots that I was hitting with my mower and it works great. I had tried a recommended flapper disc which was slow and more expensive that two of these wheels.

The cutting blade literally eats wood. Used it on pre cut slabs of oak, poplar, spruce, fir, and basswood, and it chewed through them many times faster than a carbide saw blade. Doesnt leave a smooth finish, but certainly is good for quick ripping. Tried the grinder attachment and it also devoured green wood like it was a hot knife cutting through warm butter. Impressive to remove large chunks of wood quickly but will not leave a smooth finish. Finished off using orbital sanders.
