I would say yes. I used it for my bilge pump going thru the tramsom of my boat, which is submerged, and it hasn't leaked after several years.

I plan to make a an acrylic shelf. Does this dry clear? And holds acrylic well enough for light weight bearing loads like diecast cars and figures?
