What is the weight limit on this?

Not sure but my son is 2 now and weighs 37 lbs and he still uses this comfortably.

Does it fit for a 6month baby? to stay balanced by himself

We had a 12mo old in it and he sat just fine. It does sit kind of deep to keep them centered I guess, so just be aware. Our 12mo old's chin was just above the outer ring. If I could post a picture I would, but don't see how (I guess only for reviews). Hope this helps.
