Can't believe it!
Searched out other sellers on the Amazon original listing and saw the 50 in 850 with ยฃ100 discount from Amazon so this amazing TV cost me 429๐ The TV is absolutely fantastic superb picture that almost looks too real on some of the preset picture settings if that's possible? The sound is good, the stand was easy to assemble just follow the instructions carefully to avoid any damage The set-up was as simple as It gets, I'm not particularly tech-savvy by any means (Just read and follow the onscreen instructions) TV was not too heavy but still had that quality Panasonic feel. Remote is fairly intuitive to use as are the various settings and menus lists. Very happy with my purchase. I feel Panasonic is one of the few brands that still lives up to its old reputation and for the price this superb item is a no-brainer ๐

Panasonic knocked it out of the park here!
This TV is fantastic! Multi-bluetooth headphone connections, so 2 people can listen via headphones, loads of sound and picture options and the smart options are fantastic. YouTube, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Freeview are all flawless and quick and look amazing on this TV... The remote control is also seriously easy to use without having to look at it and they have had the good sense to keep it's functions in the same places as all previous remotes. I was considering the Sony Bravia but am so glad I picked this one. The stand is so much sturdier than others too. Just make sure you get decent headphones because earbuds are not powerful enough to keep the audio in sync, but normal bluetooth headphones do. I just wish the remote was rechargable and had a backlight with a magnetic charger to charge it up from the TV, now that would be awesome, no more AA batteries.

Good value for the price
This is a mid range 2021 Panasonic smart edge lit TV. It's not an oled so don't expect inky blacks. But for a edge lit led TV with no real local dimming it's more than acceptable for the price. All HDR formats are supported including HDR 10 plus, using a fire stick the HDR 10 plus logo appears on the screen. It also supports HDR 10 plus adaptive. Just remember to leave the ambient sensor on to use this function. Film maker mode and true cinema are the most accurate presets out of the box if you want to watch as the content creator intended. But if you prefer brighter with more colour saturation then standard or dynamic will be probably a better choice for you. Dolby vision is the only real big disappointment as it can appear washed out, especially Dolby vision bright. I found turning the brightness down to minus 10 ( black level not the backlight) gave much better contrast . Dolby vision dark is still a little washed out but good for a dark room. HDR 10 gives a much more satisfying HDR experience in my opinion mainly because there are many more picture options to fine tune. But left in filmmaker mode HDR 10 is really very impressive. The upscaling is a bit disappointing with a lot of banding and flashing blocky blacks on anything below native 4k. But again for the price it's acceptable. With oleds becoming much cheaper it depends on how fussy you are, where you plan to watch the TV and what type of content you watch. For general TV watching it's a solid 5 stars. For movies and HDR /Dolby vision it's a four for HDR and a two for DV. The TV can pass Atmos to a soundbar or avr and does so reliably. Hdmi control is flawless and consistent. A rare thing with any TV. Well done Panasonic for getting that right. All in all i recommended this as a good family room TV or a second room bedroom TV. If your looking for a TV to mainly watch movies on in a cinematic way then I would recommend an oled or a fald led TV . Blooming isn't a problem though, little light bleed which is good but black bars on scope movies are not as dark as they could be. But better than the equivalent type of TV from the likes of hisense etc. Panasonic and Sony are the masters of picture accuracy, and for a edge lit TV it's probably as good as it gets from any manufacturer. I like this TV and I'm impressed by Panasonic's picture processing. Any problems are down to limitations of the technology in edge lit TVs . Next TV I buy will be a Panasonic oled. But for now I'm happy enough with my purchase. Much better than the equivalent from Samsung. If you want the very best then you have to shell out some serious cash. Don't expect oled type pictures for mid range led prices and you won't be disappointed

This TV is brilliant like a breath of fresh air compared to our old sluggish tv.
Love this TV, only down side is, loading up the guide which is a bit slow compared to the rest of the functions, but still much faster than our old TV. Apart from that everything else just works so well. Really impressed with the speed of connecting to the channels and when you switch it on, it's there in an instant. Picture clarity and sound are superb, especially as there are so many choices. I still haven't found all that this TV can offer as there is so much to explore. Really this is the best TV I've ever owned.

Great all rounder
Upgraded from a Sony kdl-50829b. Which was an incredible tv. I always had Sony tvs until now. The picture is fantastic, obviously everyone has there own idea of whats good or bad. There are loads of picture adjustments & settings to find what you think are best for you. I also find that using the apps via the tv is better than using them via Sky Q. The motion is up there with Sony who are renowned for great screens. Only a couple of minor points. One being the sound. But this is overcome by adding a sound bar/ or a good 5.1 surround sound system as I have. The other is the sometimes the tv loses connection via Wi-Fi. But again this is overcome by hard wiring with an Ethernet cable. All in all a very good tv for the price. And would highly recommend anyone making the change from HD to 4k tvโs

Great Television
Very happy with the TV..great picture and sound..also like that it is on a stand which fits my unit..was very easy to set up..only downside that my husband has with it that there is no text on it even though there is a text button on the remote. Also the remote is easy to understand..

A good purchase from a good Brand
I have had this TV for five years now and can report it is still going well and I have had no problems with it. Panasonic is a well known brand and it did influence my purchase. The TV seems to be well made and has a nice channel listing display. It came with a short stand which enabled it to be placed on my existing glass stand. The remote control again is well made with clear icons and easy to understand. Because most brands of TV's look very similar on closer inspection you can see where more attention to detail has been made on the slightly more expensive Brands like Panasonic. All-in-all I feel I have had my moneys worth already.

Best TV I have seen without paying out for oled
Very pleased with the quality of this TV, picture is clear and bright. I haven't noticed any picture judder and blacks are way better than my old LG with very little blooming. Best led TV I have seen without paying out for Oled. Sound is ok but I would recommend a sound bar if you want a cinematic experience.
