This is a serious game changer for planting. It's the right size not to obstruct drainage holes and I appreciate that it's a great way to recycle plastics.

They are helping my plants. I like them.

This was a great product, but expensive. Also, because it was plastic or composite, it couldn't be dumped out in the yard when we were finished with the plant.

The product is great for drainage in houseplants, however on the picture the bag seems to look much bigger in reality it is a very small bag. In my palms I needed 1 back per plant and that would mean 30 dollars per plant. You might as well by a new plant instead if they die. When I took this little bag out of the amazon box I could not believe how little you get for 30 dollars.

Honestly not sure if it was these or the soil but after having a fiddle leaf’s tree that was showing definite signs of root rot or soil degradation. I purchased these and swapped out the soil too and right away it took off and sprouted new growth and the yellowing and browning leafs stopped! Would suggest getting the drops and fertilizer too as I’d been using that prior to repotting and still using them in addition too.

I tried to use pea gravel as my bottom layer in the pot but didn’t love the results. The houseplant smart gravel is perfect! It’s lightweight and perfectly sized for drainage/not plug drain holes. The pea gravel was too small, very heavy when wet and kept falling out of my drainage holes. Also a great company with lots of resources to help you along the way.
