I held out on using a solid conditioner because I just couldn't imagine getting the same softness and slip - after using this, I doubt I'll go back! My hair is SO soft and shiny without needing any additional products. I love that the ingredients are clean, my hair smells nice without an overpowering, artificial aroma, and that these waterless bars are much better for the environment. I can't yet speak to longevity but am keeping a tally on my bathroom mirror to come back here for an update (and a decision on whether the economics make sense for a reorder).

I love this conditioner. Having tried several kinds, this is the one I will use. Soft scent and makes my hair feel soft. Bar lasts a long time.

I bought the castor oil shampoo and the coconut oil conditioner. I have meno-hair & have a hard time with it being very dry and falling out. Nothing has helped. I was on the fence about buying these but did it anyway. My first impression: Castor oil shampoo - dry pleasant smell. I would say that it lathered ok and rinsed well. I worry about rubbing anything against my hair because of how easily it falls out. Coconut oil conditioner - after doing Keto for 8 years I’m a little burned out on the smell of coconut oil, so when I opened this bar I was struck but the smell. It turned my stomach a little. I kept the box in case I didn’t like it, so I could send it back. The bar was very soft and I was afraid I was going to break it. In the shower I shampooed my hair and then conditioned. It was relatively easy to coat my hair. It takes awhile to rinse but it can be used as a leave in too. It made my hair feel so wonderful. I shampoo only a couple times a week, and condition every time I shower, daily. I love it so much, and I don’t notice the smell as much now either. I plan to use this forever. Con: The coconut oil conditioner leaves a slippery oily film in the shower so make sure you have something to wash it out with so you don’t slip. Also, I have super dry skin now also and use the coconut oil conditioner on the rest of my shin as a moisturizer in the shower. I love it! Great for fellow meno-women

The smell is very strong. I have a small apartment bathroom, and it completely smells like this bar. Even fresh open from the box with no water used. Even after it was used. Using this with the shampoo bar and leave-in conditioner. So far I do like the conditioner bar. First use, I did feel like it took a lot of strokes to get coverage. I like how smooth and soft the bar feels. My hair seems ok so far.

I really wanted to like this bar. Overall it does leave my fine, straight hair feeling soft and not greasy. Downsides are abundant. It seems to leave a slippery film in the shower and builds up on the drain. The smell is not unpleasant but it's not subtle, so not good if you're sensitive to smells. When you get to the end of the bar it easily breaks into small pieces that are hard to use and can't be smashed back together - so I feel like I have to stop using it before the bar is gone. It did last a few months, but I'm not sure it was worth the money.

I use both the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is soft and manageable. Nothing else would work on my dry hair. This works!

This is the best bar conditioner I have yet found. I love traveling with solid shampoo and conditioner...no need to have in the ziplock bag and take out at security. But finding a solid conditioner that really works to detangle and add volume has not been easy. The Kitsch Coconut Oil Bar is AMAZING, and it smells fabulous. I won't go anywhere without it!

Very good, strong pleasant smell. Lasts very long if mid long hair. Leaves hair soft and smooth.

This is my second purchase of Castor Oil Nourishing Shampoo Bar & Coconut Oil Conditioner Combo. I love it! Lets start by saying I am a 68 year old woman with long thick, corse, waist length, dyed dark blond hair… My hair naturally is very dark with Gray sprinkles… Think asian hair. I gave up my very expensive salon products to try Kitsch, because its was less than a third the cost of mine. The reviews were just so good - I had to try it. And what a pleasant surprise I got! It lathers beautifully and the conditioner feels like silk in my hair. When dried, my hair is extra thick feeling ( if that is possible,) wavy, voluminous and soft with lots of movement. No more frizz and my split ends are pretty much non existent. The only thing that is a con for me, is the bars do not last as long as they say they do and that is probably due to the length and volume of my hair, but other than that, I can’t say enough good things about Kitsch products. So I of course highly recommend Kitsch products whole heartedly. Do yourself a favor and just buy them and try them for a few months, you’ll be glad you!

Ich mag den Geruch und die Konsistenz. Die ganze Dusche riecht danach. Doch für meine Haare (gefärbt und Extensions) reicht die Pflege nicht aus. Für natürliche, ungefärbte Haare funktioniert das vielleicht. Ich werde es nicht wieder bestellen.

I have never used bar conditioner before. I've been very stubborn over the years, blindly thinking that it was going to be more of a gimmick then anything. I bought a bar, listening to some random advice I found online. I have ultra fine hair, I have tons of it. I was getting very sick of tangles and just overall damage that happens to my hair daily. I grew up in a VERY controlling family, long hair was a NEVER for all boys. A few years ago I grew it out to my shoulders, nothing I've tried has helped much. I tried this lovely bar conditioner, long story short. I will never go back, it's just so much better of a product then anything else I've tried. Save your money, buy a bar a blow your mind. Great for anyone who has fine fine hair.

The smell of this bar compared to the other Kitsch conditioning bar I’ve used is far superior. I leave the product in my hair overnight once a week if I can. I had perm damage and I can truthfully tell you, it saved my hair! It leaves my hair soft, moisturized and shiny. Easy to use but don’t apply it directly to your hair, use it like a bar of soap in your hands, then apply, or it’ll be hard to wash off. Amazing product.
