I recently purchased the RED WOLF 250/50A Amp 12V-48V Car Stereo Circuit Breaker with Manual Reset Switch, and I must say it has become an essential component in my car audio setup. Very well made. Positive action on the set / reset link. Terminals more than adequate.....i have 6AWG cable into crimped lugs attached with no problem. States weatherproof, i have located mine in a dry environment, close to battery in engine bay. A feature i like is the ability to isolate the feed if you need to work on anything without a current or if you want to stop any parasitic draw. Mine feeds a 6 way fuse board, so very useful to be able to isolate when needed with just a simple push of the switch and re set when needed ~ highly recommended .

Funktioniert gut. Habe den Eindruck, dass die Pole für den Strom etwas grösser sein sollten.

Ich möchte diesen Schutzschalter in Kombination mit einem Wechselrichter 24V DC --> 230V AC verwenden. Ich habe heute einen scharfen Test mit einem 60Ah Bleiakku (Starterbatterie) ausgeführt. Der Schutzschalter hat ausgelöst. Leider macht der Hersteller keine Angaben zum Ausschaltvermögen im Kurzschlussfall. Der mögliche Kurzschlussstrom kann Werte im Kiloamperebereich erreichen, je nach Innenwiderstand der Batterie und Querschnitt der Zuleitung. Daher bleiben bei mir gewisse Zweifel beim Einsatz dieses Schutzschalters.
