Launches lures and rigs.
My reviews are my own, and the products purchased with my hard earned money. Took this rod out for a test drive after work and was surprised how easily it cast lures past halfway out the lagoon. Didn't have an opportunity to hook up with a fish yet but so far I'm impressed based on casting distance alone. I purchased the 9 foot rod and paired it with a 6000 reel and 30lb braid. This thing hurls 2oz weights like nothing. My only complaints so far is I noticed the rod was separating after about 12 cast. Also the nice bag it came in has a hole at the bottom. Really hoping this rod is durable because so far I love it. Will update my review if it doesn't hold up.

Awesome Surf Rod!
I bought a 4 piece 11' and 13' rod for first time surf fishing. Both were incredible! We landed several 3-4' sharks with no problem. I used mostly mono leaders, so I brought them in quickly, before they could break my leaders. The rods never complained. I also hooked 3 giants that couldn't be landed. One snapped 60lb braid after spooling out almost all of my line at high speed. Another broke 80lb braid and the last snapped a metal leader. Even with tight drag, these monsters sped away like race cars, but the rods didn't mind at all. I have complete confidence in these rods. The 11' was easier to cast. Im 6'3 215, but my big 8000 reel on the 13' rod was harder to cast/manage. Admittedly, I'm an avid freshwater fisherman with little saltwater experience. These are great looking rods. Its hard to believe the quality for the price. If you are going on a beach vacation, buy one of these rods. They travel great!

Good value
Bought this rod to toss lures for stipers, so far I'm impressed with it. Almost seems to be an exact copy of a penn fierce 3, which is also an amazing rod. Happy with the 11ft version, very fast action and looks nice casts 1-3oz lures super well. I will say the shipping was slow and the rod was in a huge crushed box with no bubble wrap or packing, I was shocked to find the rod not broken in the box.
