Can they cut meat steak, and chicken?

These are lightweight shears, more like the weight and cutting ability of regular scissors. I'm very happy with them, but wouldn't try them on bones or any substantial piece of meat. Maybe try poultry shears for chicken, and decent sharp knives for cutting meat.
