Why is it so expensive? I just bought the kitchen part of the house for 12$…ridiculous the doll house it self is a mark up

Bought it for my granddaughter she has the doll house so I bought the bathroom kitchen others to go with it. She loved it but yes I thought I thought a little high and doll house was really high sence you didn’t get much with it. My opinion it was Christmas and they up the price. But my granddaughter loved it tho.
