How do the read/write speeds of this sandisk extreme "pro" compare to those of the sandisk extreme "plus"?

Depends on use but if looking to keep up with the fast processors in the latest cameras then 70mb/s for the plus is no contest compared to the 260mb/s on the extreme pro. Have been using the extreme pro in an Olympus Om-1 and have never noticed any issues with buffering and is also very fast to download. Expensive but you pay for what you get.

Is this compatible with Sony a6000?

Page 19 of the user manual for the a6000 says "Yes - this will work for photo and video."

Is it compatible with canon 5d mark iii?
