Will this work in france?

It will work perfectly as a UK satellite receiver in France, just remember that the Astra footprint gets weaker towards the South and a big dish and sensitive LNB will become important for any receiver. Expect to receive up to 500 channels including BBC1&2&4 ITV CH4 ITV2&3 CBeebies etc etc etc, just not sorted for you in the so called Freesat sequence. Sort for yourself in 'favourite' lists. I cannot answer for the terrestrial TV, but the only point of the box would be to record French TV. Obviously you cannot receive terrestrial UK Freeview in France. (terrestrial=via normal roof aerial)

I’ve lost the instructions and i can’t find online. do i need to put the aerial in the back or can i leave it in the back of the smart tv?

You will have to connect your aerial and dish to the receiver and the receiver to your TV best with a HDMI cable.. Best of luck!

Can you get netflix, amazon prime and disney plus on here?
