A little expensive but very effective. Worth it.

It helps with anal fissure

This is best product that can be bought over the counter. I also have an aloe allergy and many products have aloe in them. I have an excellent prescription for something similar to this, only most pharmacies do not make compounds and the one in my area that did closed a few years ago so I can't get it easily. Insurance won't pay for compounds and I usually paid $30 out of pocket, so this price is comparable and I can use my FSA account. The consistency is a little thicker than my Rx, but is good and easy to use. Other than my RX, this is the best product for fissures and internal hemorrhoids.

I like the other cream from this company better. I always get confused as to which one would work best. This is fine. It didn't come with an insert but came with a few rubber finger covers. I kinda needed the insert lol but that was nice, either way. I do like this brand and it works way better than Prep H. Worth the money.

I felt I needed to add this review for anyone that has bought this or that it may not be working for. I was having issues with multiple fissures inside and out of my anal region that were very painful. I have been working out regularly for a very long time and was eating lots of protein, which caused my stools to get harder and harder until it was very painful to have a movement. Every time I would need to go I was scared of the pain that I had to endure and Ive never experienced that in my life, it was TERRIBLE. I tried to use the ointment alone and at first it seemed to not work...BUT...I opted for a different approach after some research. For this to work YOU MUST ADJUST YOUR DIET and combine that with fiber supplements and stool softeners. I found that 2 fiber pills and 2 stool softeners (taken with food) every day made my movements very soft and after a movement I would wash or use a wet wipe to clean the area very well, THEN apply the ointment to the inside of the rectum. Within a week my lower region was feeling almost completely healed. After 3 weeks I'm feeling like a new person. Its such a relief to not have to worry about it anymore. I will say again, THIS PROBABLY WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU UNLESS YOU ADJUST YOUR DIET AND TAKE SUPPLEMENTS IN TANDEM WITH THE OINTMENT. If you aren't willing to do that, don't expect positive results. You're having issues with fissures because your diet is terrible. Almost all problems humans have can be traced back to the things we eat. I cannot stress that enough. If you want your ass to stop hurting, you're going to have to make sacrifices and stop eating some of the garbage you you eat. The first thing any doctor will ask you if you visit them about fissures is "what are you eating" I hope people see this and it helps them. I know it sucks dealing with fissures and mine are completely healed using the things I described in this review on a daily basis. Good Luck and Godspeed

I wanted to give a higher rating but the ointment is too lumpy to effectively apply it. The lidocaine does help with the pain but the lumps are uncomfortable and cause irritation. Too bad, I had high hopes for this ointment because it has a good ingredient list.

I was skeptical as this stuff is very expensive. I've been dealing with issues of comfort and fissures on and off for years. I've tried a few cheaper options, but this is the first thing I've tried that works. I noticed improvement by the next day! It's only 5 days in, so maybe that'll change... But so far it's been a great investment! Such a gross problem that I think a lot of people deal with. I'm on medication that makes things irregular and that happens. Haven't had any issues since I got it. People complaining about consistency are weird. It takes a small dab and spread it around. It's fine. I'll change my review if things change, because this is absolutely an expensive product.

This is a good product but I only used it a few times and the cap broke into pieces. There was not a way to fix it so I have to keep it in a plastic bag now and hope it will not dry out. This is unacceptable for what should be a clean and sanitary product. I am very disappointed that with the price charged more care was not taken to make sure the cap on the tube doesn't break (duh).
