Product description doesn't say if I am buying one pair for the price or a multi pair pack?

My package had 4 pairs of socks. All different colors.

are they truly mid calf? I hate to cross my legs and show skin.

Yes, they are really mid-calf; great socks, you will definitely enjoy wearing them!

what is 10/13 vs 10-13 mean when ordering?

Nothing different. Looks like more then one sales
