There is no other strainer of this quality that you can find but this one. I purchased two of these as I cook a lot and find them indestructible and practical in design. Worth it.

I ended up returning this strainer because it was too deep for the intended use. Even if it wasn't, it wouldn't have served the purpose because the handle is concave and it would have wobbled while pressing down on the soup ingredients with the wood pestle. In this respect the Rösle strainer is better designed.

I'm looking forward to making guava jelly using this new strainer. I think it's going to make separating the pulp from the seeds much easier.

Sturdy and perfect for what I needed. As with fine mesh, a bit of a pain in the rear to clean, but I'm satisfied!

Works as designed. I found Amazon's pricing to be cheaper than most on-line restaurant wholesalers.
