PROCON Series 1 brass carbonator replacement pump. Dont replace your entire carbonator if you only need a new water pump. This pump will fit most carbonators. Series 1 PROCON pumps feature the protection of an integral inlet strainer (100 wire mesh screen) to trap particles which can cause serious damage to the pump. The strainer is equipped with a removable cap to allow periodic cleaning—every 4 months under normal conditions, more frequently with hard or turbid water. Brass Housing with Integral Inlet Strainer Port Size: 3/8 NPT Inlet and Outlet Review: Normally good pumps, not this one. - Have used Procons for over 30 years. Not sure whats up but this particular pump didn't last a month. The only reason Procons typically go bad is if they are run dry which this one was not. I will say this pump sounded funny from day one. Not sure if it was a mfg defect or it was a refurbished pump? Waiting on warranty inquiry. So far no response.

Normally good pumps, not this one.
