50/50 chance of getting an unusable one.
I ordered two of these, one for my home and one for my vacation cottage. It took me a while to figure out how to read it, because the design is unnecessarily confusing, but eventually, I caught on. Unfortunately, I did not use the one at my vacation cottage for almost a year after I bought it; didn't even take it out of the package. when I did, I discovered that battery cover was either mis-made or broken, because it will not stay attached. I would not recommend this product.

Don't buy this item. It is less than 90 days old And it does not work. Yes. I checked if it was the battery. It simply stops at 88.

The first time I used it the reading was over 20 degrees below the actual temperature of the meat. Good think I had another meat thermometer to compare to this piece of junk!

Cannot change F/C
It measures temperature... But in Celsius.I've used it for over a year and it was in Fahrenheit. I dropped it and the battery came out. Now it's in Celsius and i can't change it back.

Returning this because the battery cover was very loose-nothing broken, it just seemed poorly injection molded so it falls off with the slightest bump. The display shows the hundreds and tens on different lines, which is ridiculous. Measured temperature accurately. Very cheap fit and finish.

Really like this thermometer
Really like this thermometer, but wish it had something to hold it on the side of the pan without touching the bottom. It works very well otherwise.

A great buy
Never have I even owned a meat thermometer and this being my first experience was perfect. I used it on grilled hamburgers for the first use and they were done exactly the way I like them. Not sure I could survive without it now.
