Surprisingly good.
I have tried a fair few solar pumps before and thought as the price was so cheap I wasn't going to lose much by giving this a try. Worked perfectly in a garden water feature, the suction cups keeping the pump in place are very strong. There is a variety of fountain attachments to try. The lead from the pump to the solar panel is long enough to go from the water feature and then be attached to the top of a 6ft fence to capture more of the sun. Obviously if the sun isn't hitting the panel then the pump won't work as there isn't a battery back up. But for the price I thought it was better than I was expecting. Ideal for a small water feature or bird bath.

Great for a south facing garden
Good little fountain if your garden is south facing or there’s a point in your garden that gets constant direct sunlight, however if not in direct sun the pump is intermittent spurts instead of a constant stream. When in constant stream it is a lovely size and height for a small fountain or bird bath and makes a lovely noise of water without being about to hear a pump humming. Several options for the spray type. Instructions don’t make much sense but with a bit of problem solving you’re able to build it yourself without an issue. Cheap answer to a nice garden ornament.

water fountain is a decent option
Overall, the solar panel water fountain is a decent option for those looking for a small and convenient water feature for their outdoor space. While it may not be the most powerful or impressive fountain on the market, it does provide a subtle and eco-friendly addition to any garden or patio. It may not have the strongest water flow, but it still adds a peaceful and natural touch to any outdoor setting.

Ideal for a small bird bath!
For starters the solar panel has to be mounted on a small pole or stuck to a wall or post of sorts, as it doesn't have one. I used an old solar light pole & glue! The cable is just attached to the pump so when fixing either in place you have to bear in mind the other is attached to the other end, unlike many others that do unplug from each other. Well it does work as such......we've just had one of the hottest days on record, the solar panel is in direct sunlight....the water fountain for a while was at a steady 30 cms...then became intermittant (this entertained the neighbour's cat) ....like an old man with a full bladder but no strength to let it all go at once! Once the sun went it stopped dead, no reserve of any sort (neighbour's cat went home). Will it work on less sunnier days, in a haze or when slightly clouded??? Doubtful. Can it be returned I'm not sure? I've messed about with the solar panel sticking it to a pole & it's been in the water for a few days now so my return would probably be rejected on some grounds. Not sure it's worth even trying or getting wound up about even though it did cost 16odd quid! I'd say forget it unless you want to use in a bird bath & amuse the local starlings or blackbirds on a sunny day!

Great for what I needed
I purchased the AISITIN DIY Solar Fountain Pump to enhance my garden’s bird bath, and it has been a delightful addition. The kit includes a high-efficiency solar panel and a pump with multiple nozzles, allowing for various water spray patterns. The separate design enables flexibility in positioning the solar panel and pump, accommodating different setups. The installation was straightforward—simply place the pump in water, position the solar panel in direct sunlight, and it starts working almost immediately. The solar panel’s 9.8ft cord provides ample length to place it in optimal sunlight without being tethered to the water feature. One notable feature is the eco-friendly operation; the pump runs solely on solar power, eliminating the need for batteries or electricity. This not only reduces energy consumption but also attracts birds and adds a tranquil ambiance to the garden. After several weeks of use, the pump has shown consistent performance. The water spray patterns are adjustable, and the fountain operates smoothly without clogging. It’s important to clean the pump regularly to maintain optimal performance. Overall, the AISITIN DIY Solar Fountain Pump offers a customizable and environmentally friendly solution for enhancing outdoor spaces. It’s a great choice for those looking to add a touch of nature to their gardens or ponds.

La bomba es pequeñita pero hecha un montón de agua. Eso sí con luz de sol directa.

It sputters and comes on and off constantly in direct sunlight. I thought that I was getting the 2.5 watt! Now I know that it needs to be stronger or don't bother purchasing!
