Great board shorts
I feel so much more comfortable going swimming when I wear these. I am 5'4, 137 pounds pre-pregnancy, and I bought a medium. It's a little bit on the smaller side so I wondered whether I should have bought a large. I kind of wish I had sized up but I needed the swimsuit right away so I didn't bother to return it and try a different size. Still really happy with the product overall.

These are GREAT! The size chart was right on for me
These are GREAT! The size chart was right on for me! I agree with the other reviews that the seam that connects the belly panel to the shorts is kind of odd in that it's not stretchy and can create a weird seam, but my swimsuit top hit there so it didn't bother me. I just wore these every day for a 10 day beach& pool vacation and it worked really well! Was great for all the bending, swimming, & running around I was doing with my 3 other kids while staying covered and transitioned well to seeming like a pretty regular pair of shorts when walking up the beach to get food or drive home, etc. Dried really fast when wet, appreciated the built in seamless "underwear" and held up well to sand/chlorine (sand just brushed off!) Belly panel seemed a little looser by the last day but nothing a little dryer time didnt fix (though I don't normally dry very often to maintain elasticity). Pricey, but definitely what I needed for a third trimester in the summer & hopefully I can use after pregnancy just to make sure I'm covered when doing crazy stuff at the beach with my kids 😂

so if you like those pants you should like these
I have worn these in the pool a few times now, so this review is based not just on fit (trying-on) but also use.Fits well, similarly to maternity pants of the same panel design, so if you like those pants you should like these. The shorts are, in the style of board shorts, not snug to the leg, which I like, and have a built-in mesh brief (underwear/bikini bottom) within them. I like that so it doesn't feel as if you are exposed by wearing a loose article of clothing without anything underneath if that is a concern of yours. The built-in mesh is comfortable and much more giving (elastic/stretchy) in the fit than the outer material, so I have no problems with the fit of it specifically compared to the rest of the garment. I used the measurements given in the item description to determine my size and it was accurate to me.

Nice quality!
I really like the quality of these swim shorts. They are holding up well. The one drawback for my personal preference is that I would like the underbelly/waist seem to offer a little stretch, or maybe be just slightly larger. I can get away with wearing them and the legs fit great, as does the over the belly part, but for complete comfort, I just need a little extra room on that seem. For size reference, I was a size 16 pre- pregnancy. Currently, I am in my last trimester, just over 200 lbs, and about 5’4 .

Decent, overpriced, but the only option.
I was so excited for this and wanted to love it, but I only like it. Pros: I've worn them several times now to the pool, beach, splash pad, and theme park, and they seem to be holding up well. The coverage is great for my extra-sun-sensitive pregnant skin. Cons: It runs on the small side, so I would recommend ordering one size up, especially since pregnant bellies/hips keep growing. The seam under the belly band is not stretchy and a little annoying, so I'm nervous about it being more uncomfortable once I'm a little further along (at 5 months now). The price is absurd, but I so desperately wanted maternity swim shorts and this brand is the only one I could find that had any after searching for weeks online and in stores, which I'm sure is why the price is skyscraper high. If they were less expensive I would give it more stars, but the fit compared to the price is not reasonable. And it only comes in one color option.

Comfortable, but don’t last
The length of these is great and the fabric is soft and comfortable. Based on other reviews, I was expecting the seam between the two fabrics to be uncomfortable, but it really wasn’t that bad. The problem I have, and the reason I am only giving three stars is that the seam at the waist is unraveling after only wearing for a week on vacation. Disappointing for the price of these.

Best for very long torso!
The material is great, they slipped on and off well and the panel did completely cover my belly but they felt like they were built funny. Almost like they took regular flat front board shorts and added a belly panel to the top. I guess I'm just carrying the baby too low for these to be comfortable with such a high rise from the crotch up and across the hips. The belly panel starts just above me belly button but the baby is nestled lower than that. Maybe these would word better for someone with a very long torso that is carrying high!

Comfy, Cute & Modest Swim Shorts. Love 'em!
I love these swim shorts! They were a bit expensive, but ended up being worth every penny. They are comfy, cute and modest. My round pregnant belly fit well in them all summer (the soft spandex gave it room to grow) and my plumped-up thighs and rear (damn you, milk shake cravings!) weren't spilling out all over the place making me look like a beached whale. In fact, I looked pretty darn cute in these shorts paired with a black & white tankini maternity top. What's nice (and I hadn't seen mentioned before) is that they come with a sewn-in stretchy panti/bikini bottom, so no need to wear another swim bottom under these shorts. Enjoy, preggo ladies!!!
