Q: Can this be used on the scalp?

My son has a very thick head of hair and has often used a thin layer applied with a QuTip for precision works well in his scalp. Severe skin issues started at a very young age, breakouts increase anytime his skin is exposed to the sun and the summertime heat adds more problems, so a crewcut is the preferred style and makes application easier. The treatment (comes highly recommended by my son) results have been very positive for clearing his Psoriasis in longtime existing troubled areas and have not returned.

Q: Is this product oily?? Would I need protective covering to prevent product from getting onto my clothing or bedding???

It is a thick balm, kind of like a very firm/solid vaseline. I use it predominantly on my hands and it always leaves a sheen for a bit, and I have to wipe my fingertips off to not get it all over my keyboard at work. I never had a problem with getting it on my clothes, but I could see it leaving a mark for certain types of material if you didn't wipe off your fingers after applying (it doesn't rub off onto my clothing from the areas I apply it to). I don't think it would impact bedding any more than residual body lotion would. Hope this is helpful.

I think product is lousy .didnt work me. Look for Aloe vera organic creams.Aloe Vera leaf gel.skins ph seems to balance out . Or creams with oatmeal or 100%shea butter...using 1/2 witch hazel and 1/2 Organic apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle works better add 1 teaspoon veg glycerine.optional help calm dryness.About the date.worry about whether the product is effective or not . This one goes down as a zero for me.
