This is such a pretty window film. It was not to hard to put up by myself (26F) and it works perfectly for privacy from the neighbors who like to hang outside (I live in an apartment), so its also renter friendly it peels right up since its not sticky. I would say it blocks light from coming in but it has such a pretty rainbow effect when light shines on it that it doesnt matter to me. There are a couple things your gonna need for this that they do not provide which is 1. Something to measure the window before you buy the product so you make sure you have enough of the film for your window and that your buying right length so your not cutting multiple peices and trying to peice the film together. Also so you can measure the film and cut it once you receive it. 2. A exacto knife/box cuter to cut the film. 3. Something to cut the film on so your not scratching your counter or carpet I bought a poster board. 4. A spray bottle to spray the window with soap & water so the film sticks. 3. A scraper/something to get all the air bubbles out I didn't have one so I just cut up some square peices of sturdy card board I had and that worked perfect, I had to use two and it didnt scatch the film at all so id say its pretty scratch resistant. These were all the supplies I needed to put the window film up. I didn't realize this product didn't come with some of these items since another one I bought (must have been from a different brand) came with the knife, spray bottle and scraper though I lost the scraper. So just makes sure you have these on hand. I would definitely buy this product again!

This stuff is amazing! Easy to apply and stays on well if you apply it correctly. I've had it on my side door windows for years with no issues, and it's beautiful. Makes rainbows on the floor when the sun shines through. Also purchased it for my granddaughter's dorm room window, and they loved it. Highly recommend!

This stained glass window is incredible! It is not only beautiful, but sooo easy to place on the window. Just remember to spray water over the entire surface. I did not have any trouble with bubbling. Instructions were easy to understand.

I bought a cupple of rolls of this when it was on sale and few years ago along with a cupple of rolls from another brand that looked identical to this , in hopes it coukd use it in the house I was living in at the time. Unfortunately It was too small to fit in my windows and I thought it would look ridiculous if I tried piece it together so I just put it aside in hopes I could use it for something else. Luckily I recently moved into a new house that has very old style windows with individual pains of glass. so I decided to use it in my kitchen since I wanted have some privacy, but still have sunlight coming through the windows during the day . So far its working great , you cant really see in , but you can see shadows and movement. As far as stickiness its doing really great so far... i have had it up for a week now and haven't had any peeling, rolling etc etc . Im guessing I applied it properly. Overall Im very pleased with it, its very pretty and i think it looks great . I'm definitely glad I decided to put it up !

My bedroom window overlooks a not-so-pretty sight, but I still wanted to let light in so I decided to give this a shot and I’m so glad I did! It adds a nice pop of visual interest to my room and it still lets plenty of sunlight in—it even throws rainbows around the room when the light hits it, which is so pretty. I did struggle a bit with putting it up, but I honestly think it was user error lol and I eventually got it! This doesn’t come with any of the tools needed so make sure you have a spray bottle, squeegee (I found an old debit card worked better for getting out air bubbles), and a razor blade. I used scissors which was a mistake, and a blade would have been much better for small trims once it was on the window. I also opted to buy two rolls of the smaller width even though they offered the perfect size for my window just because it was significantly cheaper. If you opt to do the same, you will be able to see the seams and that might bother some, but for me it’s not a big deal.

Th best and easy film to put on large sliding glass doors and windows that face the public. I have used this brand before for the hologram effect but the thermal are a nice touch and I can leave my south facing windows open! The smaller windows were obviously easier than the small sliding window, but I didn’t have anyone to help and managed. Yes, a little creased and there are some bubbles due to the windows being old and having some chips- but it stays up and really works! I had a friend come by and she had her face pressed up against the window and couldn’t see me inside about a yard away! Would recommend! While some do come with a spray bottle and small tool, I have a pack I bought previously of a larger tool and a smaller tool (still bigger than what they give you) with a soft felt edge (think something the size to cut herbs) and the larger tool was definitely needed for the large window! Recommend it!

This window film creates a total blackout effect, even when the sun is shining directly on my Flex-room door window. We had an unusual sunny warm day, and it held out the heat. I still have plenty of roll left for another project or to replace this one in the future, which is a nice bonus. So far, humidity and changing weather haven’t budged it at all. It stays in place with no peeling or slipping. The pattern is very pretty, but you can’t really see the colors unless you’re up close, that’s the only reason I’m giving four stars. Otherwise, it’s a great value for the money, and I would buy it again. Installation was simple: measure and cut. I used a box razor and didn’t purchase any special spray bottles or tools. Instead, I soaked the window with a very wet sponge, applied the film, and smoothed it out with a credit card. It worked perfectly and made this an affordable project. They shipped this thin roll in a giant box! Still, I’m happy with it and may try another color for my kitchen door window in the future.

Nach einem Crashkurs bei Youtube und einem Einkauf, um Rakel, Sprühflasche, dest. Wasser, Cutter, Lineal usw zu besorgen war die Umsetzung kein Problem mehr. Am Ende der Folie die Schutzfolie etwas abgezogen, auf der mit Wasser benetzten Scheibe angelegt und beim weiteren entfernen der Schutzfolie weiter mit Wasser besprüht. Überflüssiges Wasser und Lufteinschlüsse ließen sich ohne Probleme mit dem Rakel nach links und rechts herausmassieren. Mit der Folie wurde zunächst eine Glasvitrine, ca 2 Meter hoch und Scheiben 30 cm breit verkleidet. Vier Fächer mit jeweils einer farblich einstellbaren Led-Leuchte, geben eine stimmungsvolle Beleuchtung ab. Danach habe ich ein Außenfenster ebenfalls beklebt und einen drei Zentimeter Streifen angestückelt, was gut funktionierte, und gar nicht auffällt. Wenn man jetzt von draußen auf das Mosaik schaut, wechseln die Spektralfarben stetig miteinander, wenn die Led's auf automatischen Farbwechsel eingestellt sind. So wird erfolgreich der Einblick verwehrt und dem Publikum wird ein interessanten Farbspiel präsentiert. Na ja, solang keiner anfängt Kirchenlieder anzustimmen, bewegt sich alles im Rahmen.

On l'a acheté un peu pour voir, et avec une petite appréhension sur la capacité réelle de ce film a atteindre un double objectif : - Empêcher les personnes passant devant nos fenêtres du rez de chaussée de voir à l'intérieur, en particulier lorsque les lampes sont allumées. - Et ceci tout en diminuant le moins possible la luminosité apportée par les fenêtres. En résumé : ça fonctionne très bien. Le film est de qualité, peu épais, mais le motif et le travail qui est fait sur cette matière permettent effectivement de ne rien laisser voir de l'extérieur. Que ce soit à distance ou en collant l'œil à différents endroits, on ne perçoit rien de cohérent. Le traitement apporté au film, en plus du motif lui-même, provoque une espèce de diffraction de la lumière qui empêche de voir, même à partir des zones "translucides" du motif. Les effets de couleur sur les photos proviennent d'ailleurs de cette diffraction de la lumière; le film lui-même est incolore. Pour ce qui concerne la pose : - pas d'adhésif d'aucune sorte, et donc aucun problème pour le retirer et le repositionner si nécessaire (personnellement je ne vois pas pourquoi on devrait y toucher, mais bon ... En tous cas lors de la pose, ça rend les choses plus faciles) - la pose est simple : on vaporise une eau un peu savonneuse sur la vitre, on retire le film de protection, on pose, et on prend bien soin d'enlever les bulles d'air avec une raclette (qui n'est pas fournie avec, je précise) Bien entendu il peut s'avérer nécessaire de découper le film au préalable, selon les dimensions de la fenêtre. Des ciseaux ou un cutter suffisent... il faut juste couper droit :) Les points négatifs : ... Aucun pour le moment. La seule chose à considérer est la durée d'adhérence, qu'il faudra juger au fil du temps, et en fonction peut-être du climat extérieur. Cela étant, et même s'il se décolle au bout de plusieurs mois, et bien il suffira de vaporiser à nouveau et de le repositionner :) En bref et pour ce qui nous concerne : un excellent produit, solide, bien conçu, facilement manipulable, qui a même amélioré la luminosité à l'intérieur en permettant de laisser ouverts les rideaux qui servaient à cacher la vue de l'extérieur (pour le salon) , et à supprimer les stores de la cuisine.

Depuis que j'ai installé ce film occultant sur ma fenêtre de salle de bain, je n'ai plus systématiquement besoin de fermer les volets pour que mes voisins ne me voient pas. Il est très très facile à poser, et ne bouge plus. Je l'ai mis il y a de nombreux mois maintenant, même avec l'humidité et les vapeurs d'eau de ma salle de bain il ne s'est pas décollé. Le motif est très beau et permet ainsi de joindre l'utile à l'agréable.

I have california shutters to keep out prying eyes from the nosy neighbours, but since I have plants that need sunlight in my room, I have to leave them open for the sun. But at night if I forget to close the shutters, anyone can see directly into my living area with the lights on. I wanted something that wasn't permanent and not something you put on a bathroom window. This film gives so much light, but provides the privacy as well. It was so easy to cut and detailed instructions were included in an attached sheet within the roll. I measured my windows and cut the film just a little smaller than the actual window so I could adjust the placement. Then when I was happy with the placement, I just smoothed it with a dry cloth and removed any bubbles out and it is so beautiful. Almost like architectural glass, it shines with small rainbow parts. I like the fact that I can remove it at any time with no sticky residue. I am really happy with this purchase. My windows are 15.5 cm x 30.5 cm high. The roll covered both windows and there is enough leftover for 2 more.
