Water column height of 6-8 inches without nozzle. Replace different nozzles can replace the water style and water column height. Maximum water column height of 25 inches.

How deep does the water need to be for this pump to work?

I'd feel safe with 4 inches. You have to be careful of it pumping water outside of the vessel. If it goes dry, it'll be ruined. Unless you monitor it through the day.

How many lph or gph does this pump

Very small pump. Might do 12 inches. I really don't know. Mine is for my humming birds to get a drink or bathe. Don't want it high.
