I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical about these when I ordered them, but my work had just given me a $25 Amazon gift card, so I figured why not take a chance and see how they are. Worse case scenario I don't love them, and it's easy enough to return and use the gifted money for something else. Whelp, upon arrival I was first surprised with their weight. They just felt like a quality product that would hold up over time and didn't feel like some rinky dink cheap tinfoil like product. I went out to install, and first realized that the gas pedal was an extremely simple one. Because the Explorer ST has a floor mounted gas pedal (it doesn't have a rubber pad like most cars, or like the brake pedal on the ST does), it simply fits snugly over the existing pedal. I tried all sorts of things to get the cover to come loose or get disoriented while it was mounted and it simply didn't budge. The brake pedal was a different story. Removing the factory rubber padding is required, and the new one then replaces it completely over the metal pedal itself. IT IS A SNUG FIT. As others have mentioned, I let the pedal rest in hot water for about 10 minutes to loosen up the rubber a bit. It's kind of awkward getting down there, but it's you finally get it all locked in right, it is 100% not going anywhere. My girlfriend, who doesn't care much about this stuff, said that they looked good, and when she drove it said they felt no different than the factory pedals. 10/10 recommend these for anyone just looking to do something simple to add a little bit of style to their Explorer ST.

Honestly way better than I thought. My wife is very happy with them after I installed them in her ST. They’re well made, fit tight and secure, and definitely give better grip to the foot. And they certainly look much better than OEM ones!

Great Value, perfect fit and look OEM, if Ford would have chosen these as an option.
