Are theses truly full range audio as described in the specs ? or are they just bass boomers like all the rest ? is there a midrange and upper band ?

Fluance is usually true to their stated specs - 35Hz to 20KHz in this case - a tad less bass than the A6 - much better than other powered speakers at this price point Fluance excels with mid and highs (cooled neodymiums! Most don’t have that at $350 range) But my advice is add a small subwoofer (even non-Fluance) and you’ll never need more speakers

Will these be powerful enough to replace our soundbar, which we currently use to project music throughout our 1,000 sq ft home?

I had no issues in my 1,700 sq Ft home.

Could I just take one speaker outside and use the Bluetooth?

I haven't tried that. The power runs from one speaker to the other so theoretically you might be able to use just the powered one. I have never tried this though. These do plug in to an outlet, that is how they are powered. For me, I didn't get as good quality when I tried using the bluetooth on it but that may just have been me. I run these from my tv and get great quality with it.

My turntable does not have a pre-amp. Can I use it with these speakers? (or could I buy an external pre-amp to make it work?)
