Great quality but is still very stiff despite 3 or so years of use - it hasn't softened much at all
Really nice, great quality, but just wanted to say that even after a few years of use is still very stiff, it has barely softened at all. It's very thick too, and was a bit overkill for the Alpine White Les Paul Custom I am using it for. I think it would be more suitable for a 5 string bass or something much heavier.

Excellent , comfy strap for bass
This is my third levy’s strap, I wanted a white one to match my new bass, wider than a guitar strap but not a super wide 4in. The design has changed slightly. See my picture of the back of the strap. The leather going all the way to the end might look nicer, but actually makes it squeak as the bass moves against it. Not that it matters at anything above practice volume. Still excellent quality and worth 5 stars.

Love this!
Use this on my Stingray 5, it's SOOO comfortable. The quality is amazing. Highly recommend this.

Leather sofa of guitar straps
Very nice strap. Star only deducted because it's a bit slippy on the shoulder and, for me, tends to slide towards my neck a bit more than i'd like (this is extreme nit-picking). Otherwise it's high quality, if you want to spend £25 (or equivalent) or so on a strap with comfy padded edges. I own several guitars and generally go for slightly cheaper leather straps with no padding and a textured underside so that they don't slip, but I would recommend this if you want a bit of a luxury sofa feel. It seems to suit the guitar i've put it on anyway (flying v).

Well made comfort.
It’s smart looking and because it’s thick and well padded it is comfortable. Seems to be very well made.

Not cheap, but very good.
I've used Levy's straps for years, but wanted to try something a bit more high end. This strap is very comfortable, beautifully finished and very strong. Great strap

Not the quality Levys used to be
I bought the two tone as I really wanted the cream look for my Koa wood Taylor GS Mini. Have to say, I'm quite disappointed with the quality of this strap. Whilst it is one the cheaper Levy's straps, it's still nearly 40 quid. I bought this as I've had a trusty suede one for a few years and it's lovely and soft. Leather can be stiff when its new I know but my word, this new leather is like cardboard. I've had several goes at softening it by pulling it across the back of chair, as advised by others online, and whilst it is a little more flexible, it's still very stiff. I can't soak it as the cream leather, which is a better quality than the brown in my view, might get stained. My old one is a double layer of suede leather, this is just one, plus the padding. The padding is quite nice and soft but the thing won't bend due to the stiffness of the brown leather. Things have clearly changed in the Levy factories, I guess times are tougher. I was on a budget so couldn't afford one of the more expensive Levy straps and now I wish I'd gone for a non branded version as the quality might well have been better as they don't have the overheads of the Levy brand. Having got this one, I'd say if you can't afford one of the really expensive Levy straps, consider a cheaper brand. This one is going to take months to break in and it isn't particularly comfortable in the meantime. Also, because it's so inflexible, it doesn't fit in my guitar case particularly well. I've attached some photos - both straps are the Levy brand. Overall view - disappointing.
