Incredible quality, value, sharp edge, great ergonomics!!!
I've carried and needed a Spyderco knife daily for over 30 years. They've been rock solid all over the world through my time in the service. I recently had the one I carried for 20+ years stolen. I bought another, newer, better version of my old favorite Delica without hesitation. Then I started looking for a more moderately priced competitor. I VERY much doubted I would find anything close. I fully admit I was very skeptical, but this knife! WOW! I don't know where to start. The Damascus is beautiful and holds an razors edge no problem. The lock, flipper and eyelet are perfect. Weight, balance, cutouts for thumb and fingers and a better grip. Ya for the $$$ good luck finding anything this good.

Perfect
I bought this knife for my girlfriend. She shows cattle and needed something to cut open feed and haybales when I'm not there for her to use my knife. She also doesn't like my heavier knife and doesn't have deep pockets, so I started some research. I'm really into knives so I searched and did a lot of thinking about how she would want a knife. She needed something lightweight, smaller, easy to use, a firm lock, not too flashy, easy to clean, and had a clip for it. This knife checked off all those boxes! She loves her knife and has no complaints about the function, and neither do I. It is an affordable knife that has many good attributes that I would recommend to most. Not to mention how easy it is for me to sharpen, she's not that advanced on knives like I am, so I have to sharpen it from time to time. One of the easiest sharpening jobs i have had to do! she's had it for about a month now and I've just had to sharpen it for the first time after daily use. Summary, great knife, good value, she's happy. Thanks!

Great beater knife
Great Lil budget beater. Smooth opening and closing. Sharpens easy but dulls quick. It's as good as a sencut or cjrb

Great deal!
Great deal on a very nice pocket knife! I used a very small amount of bike chain lube (rock N roll gold, also on amazon) to help break in and smooth the action. For EDC or light duty the axis lock should be just fine. Very sharp blade, will see how it holds up over time, but should be easy to sharpen. Ergos in hand are great, feels good to hold since its not super thin like some EDCs. At about $15 can't go wrong with this. UPDATE: Still love this knife, especially the ergos in hand. Picked up a damascus version which is very nice, and no need for lube on that one. Will update again after a few months of use.

For the money, what a steal ! ** unless you need customer service
**This knife sells for right around $20, and as a guy with a 'knife thing', I know a little bit about knives. I own my share and yours and that guy behind you and I own some that are (IMO) on the pricey side and I've purchased too many inexpensive knives that were inexpensive for a good reason. This knife is a flipper and is very smooth. If you've owned a few flippers, this is one that you can pull from your pocket and open without a hitch. Lightweight, sturdy, comes sharp, gets sharp and stays sharp. Get one, you'll be glad. But if you aren't, it might be because you're a bedwetter or maybe you just like to complain, but it won't be because it's not a tremendous value and good knife. ** So this is an addendum to previous review. Since I wrote the original review, I have had the pocket clips on two of my Albatross knives break off. Got caught on something/ one broke immediately and the second bent to the point that it didn't work, I tried to bend it back and it broke. I have reached out to Albatross several times to inquire about getting a replacement clip - trying to find a clip that will fit and work on my knife has proved to be a monster so I thought I'd try to buy them from Albatross. But Albatross isn't speaking. Still a good knife but as far as I can tell, the company must be a front, knives made in some wayward factory and with an email address to no where. In other words, "Not real strong on customer service".

Excellent Budget Knife
There's a big scratch or crack across the logo on the blade. Maybe it's supposed to be part of the logo? But it sure looks an awful lot like a big ol' gash in the steel. Aside from that, this knife is pretty decent but with a few drawbacks. The textured FRN is quite nice, giving the handles a little bit of grip. The size and shape of the handle is quite nice, and feels very comfortable in the hand. The liners on the inside of the handle are also well-rounded, without sharp edges. But the action of the pivot is rough and gritty, rough enough that the flipper cannot deploy the knife successfully. We'll see if it smooths out over time, but for now this knife is difficult to open. EDIT: The knife has since broken in, and the pivot is now *extremely* smooth and fidget friendly. The axis lock has similarly broken in to something that is very friendly and easy to use. For the cost, this knife has proven to be impressive!

Absolutely amazing... Better than Benchmade
This is the best out of the box pocket knife I have seen an extremely long while. It's extremely sharp out of the box. The pivot is extremely smooth out of the box. The locking system is smooth and easy to operate right out of the box. It's got a great extremely high pocket clip for low in pocket visibility. I was actually looking to spend money on a Benchmade pocket knife and they retail for $150 to 300. I bought this by chance. This is so much better. Every once in awhile you find something really really good. And this is it.

It's a knife.
Does not have open assist, but is sharp and the blade design is pretty. Even though the handle is plastic making it feel kind of cheap, I use it all the time to open a variety of packages.
