I am 6'7" and 385 lbs. I have gone through "big mans office chairs" at the rate of about 1 every 18 months for the last 16 years. The tilt/swivel mechanism on the past chairs never seemed to hold up to any where near what it was rated for... then I found this chair. It is solid and well built, comfortable and has held up to me sitting in it 12-14 hours a day for the past 5 months since I had 3 knee surgeries and switched to working from home while I recover. I love the fact that the arms on the chair fold up, which has made easy for me to use the chiar not only at my desk, but also at the dining room table. Probably the single best investment I have made in office furniture in the last decade.

Assembly was easy. I've probably assembled more furniture than the common person though so that may be why some people are having issues. During assembly only screw the arm rest into the side of the seat about 1/8 of the way then attach the back and tighten it up about 1/2 the way then go back and do the sides of the arms all the way and the back the rest of the way. It's comfortable though I got the leather version, thinking he cloth version would be a bit more comfortable without having to wear in. The cylinder is the largest diameter one I've received on a chair rated for this weight which definitely lends itself to believing it will stand the test of time longer than others. Base is nice, no sharp corners or anything. Feels pretty sturdy. Only thing I'm missing is a headrest but they make ones you can attach to it and I knew it didn't come with one so that's on me.

Been using this chair for a year, no noticeable wear and tear other than cushioning flattening in the rear a fair bit which is expected. I'm pushing 600lbs and take up a full two seats on an airplane, I am big. This chair fits me comfortably, the arm rests actually fold up and out of the way and my legs don't lose circulation after hours of sitting. This chair is actually BIG and WIDE. It's not like the other big and tall chairs on here that seem to only cater to the tall aspect. An average sized adult could sit in the chair with crossed legs and still have room. this chair can handle size and weight, I've been able to lean back reliably. My only complaint is the base is so heavy duty, it really hurts to hit your heel on it lol. The recommended rollerblade/caster wheels are a game changer if you're a heavy person, smooth gliding all over. Update: March 2025 -im still super big, chair still holding up under my size 12 hours a day. It's been through two home moves. Still super sturdy. The armrest cushions have flattened a fair amount but the seat cushion hasn't gotten any worse than the initial break in. This chair is a tank.

I need to divide this rating into 2 parts. The chair is great and it is very sturdy and comfortable for a larger person over 300 pounds and 6 feet tall. The seat is a little too hard for me and I added a foam cushion. The directions, however, left out several important steps such as needing to disassemble the side gears and putting them back together after the arms were attached. Otherwise you can't raise and lower the arms. Also, you need to attach the arms and the back very loosely until they are all connected. Then, you can go around and start tightening up the screws on the arms and the back. If you follow the directions and tighten the arms first, you will never get the back on. It took 2 of us several hours to figure all this out on our own. The instruction sheet was a single page of several basic drawings and no further information. Really pitiful for an expensive chair.

I do not normally leave reviews, as I feel like unless you've tried multiple options of something a review is quite biased.. Well I have been on a quest for the right office chair and have tried a plethora of them so I figured it's time to write a review. After spending thousands of dollars on multiple chairs over the past year, I purchased this chair while at my wits end because my newest office chair was starting to sink just by sitting in it. I am extremely happy to say that this office chair is my last purchase, as it is absolutely perfect (well sorta, i'll address this shortly). When I say "TALL" I mean that this chairs upper most position on the hydraulic shock is crazy tall.. With the chair extended all the way up and the aftermarket wheels I have on the chair, I had to get on my tip toes just to get on the chair! The seat is thick, soft and the best part.. its WIDE. The base of the seat is all metal, including the arm that actuates the hydraulics. The swivel base is full metal, but heres the one item I needed to address.. The wheels. They are the same plastic wheels you get with every other chair on the market. I have found STEALTHO wheels are the only way to go on office chairs, you can get them here on Amazon for 40 bucks. This chair pairs with those wheels has created the GOAT big and tall office chair!

It seems like it would be an extremely comfy chair if I was actually able to assemble it. The mounting holes for the left arm are about a quarter of an inch too close together to get the arm on. There is no wiggle room as these are rigid mounts, so I had to return it. The hunt for a comfy chair continues.

I'm a big guy at 6'2" but at its highest setting even my feet dangle without touching the floor. It's been said by other reviewers and can't be overstated enough that this is a giant chair. I feel like a gargoyle perched up on a ledge sitting on this thing. Anyhow, assembly is a six-step breeze with all necessary materials included in the box. From start to finish it took about 15 minutes, and there was never a moment of confusion. The chair itself is very comfortable with its mesh back and adjustable lumbar support. Right out the box it was fitted right where my lower back needed. Like a breath of fresh air.

I have three now, and one of them has been used over 12 hrs a day, for over a year! It's just starting to show wear, but when it's used by someone over 300 lbs, that is very impressive.

Perfect, matches the description for Big and Tall, adjustable lumbar, flip-up armrests, NOISE FREE, sturdy, and very comfy. I love it.

Esta silla fue una bendición, anteriormente tenia miedo de romperlas y en esta me puede super bien, ojo que la silla esta muy grande, de hecho me queda "grande" mido 181 y es una silla muy alta y el asiento bastante ancho, también es muy pesada, el defecto que tiene es que el material del asiento se pega muy feo a la ropa, le tuve que poner un tapete enésima por que si no cuando te mueves en la silla tu ropa no se mueve por que se pega al asiento
