So this bag is very lovely! (Nice thick leather, or leather glued to PU leather in multiple layers? There are not sufficiently clear descriptions of exactly what the bag make up is that i can understand in either the description on the item page nor in the Large brochure that came with the bag.) Whatever the combination of genuine and PU leather, the bag feels amazing to touch. As other reviewers have noted the details are well looked to and it was so nice i got suspicious that something had to be wrong and searched the whole bag! I found nothing wrong in manufacturer, just more lovely details. I am a graduate student and will need this to be purse and backpack at times, so I immediately filled it with heavy books and my 13" MacBook Pro, and when i put it on, the weight felt ok. After one day of wearing it out in NYC, on and off the buses and trains, i would say it is comfortable to wear all day and i did not feel i was wearing a man's bag, despite the description. You can see how it sits on my back below, i am 5'7", and weigh 155lbs.I took off one star for two reasons: 1) the bag is tres heavy with nothing in it! Now, i Love my collection of leather handbags, so I'm going to be ok with the weight eventually. But first time out the box it almost went right back in for being so heavy- prepare yourself.2) the straps that go through the silver bars on the front are not functional. They are decorative and the flap closes, sometime well and often not, with the two magnetic buttons. With a lot in the zippered section, the magnetic snaps will not stay snapped. If there had been no zipper at the top i wouldn't have ordered the bag at all since i put my wallet in it and don't want to have it stolen on the subway. Also, when i open the bag to get something, usually the straps come out of the silver loops and flop all around awkwardly. I really wish those long straps were either functional or attached so they would not come out!!However, those two things feel insufficient to cancel out keeping a bag so lovely i don't even care it's not 100% genuine leather like all my other bags! It just feels like great quality.

Very pleased with the purchase. High quality material and very good workmanship. If put a big brand and a price tag 10 times if the price, you'll see it worth three money.

I bought this backpack as a gift and when it arrived was more than happy. The craftsmanship is amazing. It's just the right size to carry an assortment of items all at once. Sturdy, stylish and priced much less than I would have expected, based on seeing it in person. I recommend and would definitely purchase it again.

I looked for months for an attractive sturdy leather backpack that can hold a full size apple computer that is more "adult" than the college backpack my daughter carried.THIS IS IT! The leather is beautiful cowhide, backpack is meticulously made. I am thinking about buying another one for myself. I looked at designer $500 backpacks--I am so happy to find this one.

Nice quality, professional looking.. great value for price. Magnetic closures and nice detail.. Bag isn't big enough for books of a student, but it's perfect for my laptop and wallet. I don't have to carry my purse and laptop bags to work every day now...Much more comfortable :)

It is a nice looking and beautifully designed unisex bag.The leather feel is good but the weight can be heavy when laptop and other things are put in.However, it is a solid leather bag as long that can withstand heavy loading.
