Well made / good quality.
Very nicely made. In my case, my 4" vent pipe had a rolled lip where I needed to install this, so it was more of a press-fit kinda deal. I ended up having to remove the 3 little spot welded tabs - but it was super easy to pry them off and doing that didn't damage anything. I was able to bend the lip out also, which was nice. All in all, very nice quality and provided a nice finish to my dryer vent.

Well worth it
I was laying a new floor and had to move my dryer, so I decide to clean and the vent tube and replace the outdoor cover at the same time. This was a few dollars more than the "Plastic" units but dollar for dollar the quality and precision of this unit is well more worth the difference in price. 304 SS, not plastic, smooth vane movement, not plastic that will warp and stick, Super easy installation and hands down better than all the plastic units out there. If you are doing the work, pay there few extra dollars and do it right. Great vent cover.

It worked for what i needed it for
It worked, however, with the screen on it and when dryer is on, lint will accumulate and clogged the whole thing which can potentially cause a fire. I didnt know of it til i went to check as my dryer threw a code on pertaining to the air flow, luckily i didnt screw it in so it was easy to remove. Even without the screen rats or any creepy crawlies wont be able to get in since vent part stays close and then only opens when dryer is on. Overall, the quality is good but not the greatest, as for installation, i didnt order what else was needed so it took me awhile to attach it. the circumference of the vent is exactly 4'' as a DIYer i didnt know much so i had to buy 6" attachment ring (not sure what you call it) but anyway, it worked for the time being. I should've ordered the 6'' and it would have been fine. I miss out on my window to exchange the item so im stuck with it for now.

Mí artículo llegó dañado y tuve un reembolso, pero puedo decir que es un material de aluminio muy bueno para poner en pared para un extractor de grasa o lavadora, y dentro tiene una malla metálica que evita que entren insectos o lagartijas, lo recomiendo.

not quite what I was hoping for
I was looking for a vent cover that would open easier than my old one. This does, but being made of stainless steel, if I don't have the vent blower running on very high speed, the vanes of this cover flap a bit, and create a metal clicking noise every time any of them flap closed. It would be fine for a higher output duct I think.
