Saltwash powder is a product invented to create a unique weather worn, layered sun and salt air soaked look in just three quick steps. Saltwash powder is made with real sea salt so you will notice it dries quickly and has great adhesion. It can be mixed into any brand, color or finish of paint and is always used as a base coat. When mixed to the desired consistency, Saltwash can be applied to almost any surface that takes paint. Originally intended for furniture, Saltwash can also give a unique look to walls, flooring, metal, glass, fabric and even plastic. Saltwash powder is a no voc product and all of the ingredients are considered safe in a normal working environment. I took some furniture that has a great shape that I ruined from plants (watering) and it would have taken days to refinish properly, but I just painted it with Saltwash and chalk paint. I did a few different coats, first wet, then a dry brush technique. Just as good if not better than a pro refinish. If you love beachy, French painted furniture, Coastal, or Swedish faux antique finishes, this is a must for your arsenal. Awesome service...great product for that beach feel
Wow you exceeded my expectations. The product ;saltwash) came a week earlier than projected. Was so happy to get to work on my project this weekend. It was expertly packed as well which I appreciate. I will certainly purchase from the store again. The product itself salt wash works very well with Annie Sloan chalk paint. Happy with my selection.

Such a great product, I redid 2 different end tables with this and both pieces I’ve gotten compliments on!! I found a few different tutorials on Pinterest, so easy to follow and such an easy product to use!!

Great for 3-D stenciling
This is the first time I used salt wash. It was perfect for adding the right amount of texture for 3-D stenciling to this solid wood, photo clip, memory board. I mixed with chalk paint to a cake batter consistency. I then sanded for the weathered look.
