I need to put orthotic inserts in my shoes? Can the factory-made foot bed be removed from these shoes?

I recently came to own a pair and yes, the inserts come out. My custom orthotics work just fine in them!

Are the ties metallic?

Yes, they are but they don’t stand out. I am not a big bling fan, but ‘this does not bother me at all I have several pairs if the Angel Fish Speeries an I have another pair with white and metallic gray. They are my go to shoes in the summer for very casual wear.

I wear a 7.5 w. i have plantar fasciitis too. i read reviews that the shoe is big? will the wide size be too wide?

I wear a 9 W and I purchased this shoe in a 9 W and while it felt comfortable right out of the box, it kept sliding off my heels. Since leather stretches to conform to your foot, this will stretch to the point where I won't be able to keep the shoes on my feet.
