Does it run big or small? 46R in dress coat and 36 pants should I jump up to an XL?

I’d say the standard runs medium to large. It fit my son where it wasn’t too loose not too tight, but his 6’4” lean build helped it hang well. You may find an XL as a better fit because my son normally wears medium but sometimes large shirts.

Perfect Jacket!

The size Large fit perfectly and was true to size. The costume jacket looked authentic and was a big hit at a "Grease" party. We are in a warm climate so the good thing is that is wasn't too warm to wear. It just worked out perfectly.
