Vepagoo 20Inch 45Lb/200N Gas Strut with Brackets

These struts are really strong. Used on our Jayco after replacing the mattress with a memory foam one. Had to modify the brackets to work but no issues with it

These are stronger than I thought. I have a 110 pounds to lift so I ordered the 100 lb size. Wrong. I reordered the 70 lb and it was still too much. Wish I tried the 50 lb version. Maybe it only has to lift 50 percent of the entire weight because it is on a hinge. Now I have to add a latch to hold it down. Don’t make the same mistake.

Seems to be a decent product. Works well if you know how to install them. Watch a video on Youtube on how install one of these before you buy. So, for my 40 something pound hatch I needed 66-88 lbs gas shocks.

Strong struts, however make sure not to ovvertighten the nuts. Seriously, just snug them. The studs have poor tensile strength, snapped 2 without even trying.

Absolute junk! The brackets are mild steel and bent immediately. Do not waste your time or money.

I originally purchased the 50lb struts but miss calculated and they were not strong enough. I ordered the 100lb struts and soon discovered the hardware is not strong enough. it bent on both the top and bottom connectors. I ended up building my own hardware out of 1/4 thick angle iron. the struts are great but the hardware needs to be redesigned.

Worked exactly as it should. Directions aren't wonderful but with persistence can be figured put

Worked as hoped. I did need to use the ends (Threaded on mounts) from the original shocks on my RV bed that I was replacing. They threaded on the new shocks perfectly.

Too strong for my rv bed. So sent them back
