I am looking at the black marble ice bucket. Is it actually marble? Or what is it made of ?

Stop that. S'well is not made of real marble. As per their website: "the outside is a shiny, high-gloss finish that mimics the lustre and sheen of organic materials culled from ancient quarries"... like an acrylic or some kind of faux finish but in no way actual marble

It does not have a drain for ice melt, but you could easily use the lid to strain of any melt. We love ours!
