Now that I have used this several times with great results I wanted to leave a review with confidence. I had been on the hunt for a good shampoo for my Yorkie. I used to use another brand that was an all in one shampoo/conditioner and that company changed their formula so I started purchasing multiple shampoos and was really getting frustrated because so many dog shampoos are designed for dog fur, not dog hair. After endless frustration and my dog itching herself with allergies through this trial process I am THRILLED to say we have found a winner. First, this one passes the lather test for me. It doesn’t take a lot and I can get a nice lather quickly. Almost better lather than my personal shampoo and mine is more expensive. Second, it doesn’t have a medicine smell. Now, it doesn’t have a designer perfume smell either. If you buy dog shampoo hoping your dog will smell like he/she just strolled through the perfume section of Saks Fifth Ave, this isn’t for you. It has a light floral scent and on my Yorkie’s hair it tends to fade after a day. The previous shampoo I used smelled amazing for days but now I’m also learning it was full of harmful ingredients so I’m learning not to be dazzled so much by what WE want and focus more on what my dog needs. The smell is pleasant and this is a compromise. I am now pairing her washes with the Biosilk conditioner. This is the game changer for us. Her hair dries so light and fluffy and shiny. There’s no build up and I am pretty generous with the conditioner. Most importantly, she’s not itching and digging into her paws like she was with many of the others we tried. Very happy with this set.

This lathers slightly making it easy to insure you get the soap rinsed off. It leaves my spotted white pup’s fur soft and lightly scented. Really cleans the dust off her white coat. She is a German shorthair with a spotted mostly white coat and as a hunting dog is not afraid of dirt! Love this product and we have had no skin reactions at all to shampoo.

I will start by saying that Biosilk makes great products and I use their 'Silk Therapy original' leave-in treatment almost daily on my own dry, coarse, and wavy hair. We are newer goldendoodle owners and have been searching for cleansing products since last fall when our little dude came home. It's been hard to find products that clean without stripping or drying. I saw a popular Instagram doodle account recommend this shampoo and since I already was a fan of the brand, trying this product for our doodle was a no-brainer. I ADORE the scent—it's light and floral without being overwhelming. It has a nice slip/silky feel and leaves a lovely scent on our boy's coat. It's gentle and doesn't seem to strip the moisture from his skin or fur. (I am also eager to try out the conditioner version with the shampoo, but am using up an existing bottle of another brand first.) I personally like to dilute it in a bottle with some water and squirt it directly on him so that it lathers evenly and rinses more readily. The ingredient list is short and full of familiar ingredients: Water, Milk Cleansing Agents, Silk Protein, Soy Protein, Milk Protein, Aloe Vera, Honey, Chamomile Extract, Vitamin E, Panthenol, & Frangrance. (That's the complete list!) This is a great product and I love that an awesome brand like Biosilk is thinking of our canine friends—I give it five stars. and highly recommend!

FIRST, it smells AMAZING. It lathers well, and It DEFINITELY eliminated most of the wet dog smell. The scent from the shampoo is strong at first does wear down after a couple of days. It made my German Shepherds' hair super soft, shiny, and silky smooth... and it LASTS. It made it SO much easier to run the shed brush through my GSD's hair. The only issue I have is that it claims that it has topical flea and tick repellant, but I used this on both, my 11 week old and my 9 month old, German Shepherds. My 9 month German Shepherd doesn't have any issues, but my 11 week old puppy is itching and biting like he has fleas. However, My 9 month GSD is on Nexguard Spectra/Combo and my 11 week old GSD is on Simparica Trio. Maybe it is the Simparica Trio that isn't working like it should, but I feel like this should be a bit more effective as far as repelling them especially with current treatment. BUT maybe, my puppy has extra sensitive skin. REGARDLESS, I LOVE this product for the health of my dog's hair and the great scent. Oh. And. It was packed well and sealed with stickers to eliminate leakage. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. It's worth the money.

My Lola is a Shih-poo and almost 18 years old, so I needed a gentle, tearless shampoo for her sensitive eyes — and this one is amazing! We’re always careful during bath time, but it’s comforting to know this shampoo is safe and gentle. It leaves her hair soft, shiny, and smelling great. We also use the conditioner from the same brand, and together they make her coat look beautiful. Highly recommend for dogs of all ages!

Great shampoo & conditioner for my Maltese/Poodle mix. Smells beautiful & I Love that it is a tearless product.

I have a goldendoodle with long curly beautiful hair. This shampoo does a fabulous job on her hair. She smells wonderful after her shower and and I also use the conditioner which helps keep the tangles and mats minimized as well.
