Is there any reason this can't be used as a bow draw weight scale? It looks identical to products sold for bows, but is quite a bit less expensive...

You can use it. To set the drag on a fishing reel as well. Any pull tests as long as a certification is not required. Happy testing....

What is the product dimention? How much does the scale weigh?

Product Dimensions: 6.1 x 1.2 x 2.3 inches, Item Weight: 2.9 ounces

Does the weight lock when achieved?

Can you carry it on the plane or do you have to check it in?

We used it to weight the luggage of our german relatives visiting us. They used it and it was very accurate. If it was me, I would put it in my check-in luggage. One less thing to trigger a TSA inspection of my carry-on…
