Are these easy to open and close?

These pinking shears are awesome for the price. They open, close and cut well. So glad I bought them. 😃

Why didn't description say must have to oil before use? Directions say must oil before using this?

You'd have to ask the ad people in the company that makes the product why the copy says or does not say a thing. By the way, I use the scissors, happily, with no oiling. Then my due is limited. I am delighted with these scissors as they are.
