I would like to know how they are on leakage, nobody addressed that. Is it leak proof?

No and the panel is short. You must wear a panty liner. I was under the impression that they were leak proof.

The panty is cotton but the decorative top is nylon.

What is the size comparison for size 8 panties? Large or XL?

Hello, US size 8 panties compare with our XL. US size 4=XS; size 5=S; size 6=M; size 7=L; size 8=XL; size 9=2XL; size 10=3XL.

is there any shrinkage with washing?

HAVVIS insists on using only high quality combed cotton to maintain high quality, high elasticity, not easy to shrink and not easy to deform. And use reactive printing and dyeing, not easy to fade.
